A few pages back someone made a good point that Aglaecwif was probably asked to occupy Henry during the coming attack. But what could be those instructions Danica was giving to the Rebis? (Also, interesting that the dynamic here is that the Rebis is simply given those instructions, not even by Tanos himself, while Aglaecwif needs to be bartered with.) My best guess: Tanos is outsourcing taking down the barrier to the Rebis. He probably could do it himself, but he's a busy boy.
And what about the cult's role in the attack, those markings Christie was ordered to draw? I think that the power network of the whole facilty is coming down, which means no power suppression. And with those markings, the Black Mouth can probably re-possess Yuren.

My theory is that they're going to seize Ella's corpse during the attack, and do something with it. We know from Langdon and Tanos' conversation that it's not a coincidence that they're attacking H.E.R.O. at the moment the eclipse ends. They talk about how the timing will be tight, but they have to do it then. They also say that while their goal in attacking H.E.R.O. has something to do with Yuren's rituals, Yuren was only building on work that "she" began. That's probably Ella. Yuren's rituals were based around the eclipse, and Doll Ella gave her main self credit for starting it. So S.I.N. might need Ella, or at least her body, to finish the ritual. And the Rebis builds its tools from corpses, so it would be able to make whatever Tanos needs to interact with Ella's remains.

S.I.N.'s goal being to complete the eclipse ritual could also be why Christie was pressured to draw the cult's symbols around R&X. The Black Mouth said that the symbols don't do anything on their own, but just draw the attention of the Apostles. If S.I.N. is going to do a ritual, it would help to prepare the space by having the Apostles watching.

I didn't get underage vibes (if that's what you mean by loli) from Mia after her art update. She definitely looks mature, just short and not particularly curvy.


They're similar, but I wouldn't say they share the same traits and motivations.

Alice pursues strength because she loves fighting and getting stronger, and wants to be the strongest (or at the very least, beat Michael, who is her rival).

Nico pursues strength as a way to gain status, and in this new world, personal combat prowess is the only way to obtain that (aside from very rare exceptions like Dexter, but she's not cut out for administration or science).
She definitely doesn't enjoy fighting, which you can tell from her fighting style, which basically amounts to teleport enemy into the sun. If she can't do that, teleport the sun to the enemy. When she brings up the combat prowess of her peers, it's just to brag about her win record and to shit on most of the others for theirs - she doesn't bring up interesting or respectable fighting styles or anything.
Her true passion is exploring the universe.

I'm not sure what other similarities you'd say they have, aside from valuing personal strength.

Damn yeah you're right I missed that. Indeed now that I think about it, Nico does not love fighting quite in the same vein as characters like Alice or Michael do, to her it does indeed seem like fighting is nothing more than a means to a goal, whilst for Alice and Michael fighting itself is sometimes the goal.

Hard to say, but unlike a lot of characters it seems justified at least. Unlike most characters they legit might still be a virgin, might have always been one, and for years. We don't know what they looked like pre-evo, either.

That said WW tends to write all women as harlots, so what do I know.

Honestly that's why I love seeing her and Claudia. Hey I don't mind harlots but when the vast majority of female characters are either quite experienced, or with low experience but generaly unfazed ( Tiffany ), or full on sluts, having these easily flustered and almost innocent characters really stands out.

The obvious goals for the attack would be Ella and crippling HERO, but with Langdon and Tanos talking about timing this update and reaching "her", your theory about completing the ritual seems on point. Not sure if I agree with you on the markings though. I read Yuren's words ("manifesting a link to the divine") as giving more influence to beings in the higher spheres in the area of the markings, like the Black Mouth himself (he implied in the fight that he is not in a material world). But that could also be the case for the Apostles then...
Also the result of this mysterious ritual... it's pretty obviously not what the business types like Hana and even Langdon have been told, right? Hana seems to imply the SIN inner circle members would gain something (being "vessels for the culmination of the rituals"). Langdon cares about power above all else, Ella and even Tanos exploiting that to gain his resources and connections, only to fuck him over when the rituals are done would make sense to me. Especially with the attitude Ella has always shown towards Langdon's efforts but who knows what part of Ella's behavior is actually genuine.
Do we know more about those rituals than what Aglaecwif told the MC? She only told us that Ella wants to change something about the Apostles only being able to manifest as avatars in the first sphere.

Ploot updates it with every public release, so just wait a little longer and it will come out. Don't worry.

Theory About Henri and Ella's Potential Return

Something I've been thinking about, and after reading some comments, is really about Henri. If he were actually awake, he would probably annihilate all those S-class monsters at once. So the theory that they trapped him in the dream world in that tornado form with the blue-eyed monster really makes sense, it would be the perfect plan.

However, I really, really want it not to work. Like, it could work initially and Hero could be partially destroyed with many casualties, but at some point Henri would show up. The idea would be that he managed this by purchasing an item that the shopkeeper gave him (after all, he said he'd stop by there). Then, once awake, he'd start annihilating everyone. Of course, he wouldn't kill the main monsters (like Aglaecwif, Indra, and others), but taking out some random ones would be interesting.

During this time, they could retrieve Ella's body and resurrect her. I'm not sure how they'd do this, but knowing that the third sphere is the dream world and that souls of dead people have appeared there, maybe Ella's soul is there somehow, and there's some way to bring her back. But this should be something very difficult and costly, because if reviving dead superhumans were trivial, it would be bad for the story. So WW could go all out on the technical requirements.

Not sure if this is a bug but after the scene with Amber and Liz I got sent back to the early college section when you have the first boxing match with Michael. I though it was a flashback at first but it way too long and I'm replaying all the events (sleep, hanging out, etc). Is it normal or just a bug? (I was using the WT mod on the last version I played 0.99)

Useless reminder that Oscar was a human that was ambushed by a monster and still managed to kill it and protect at least one member of his family, meaning his incompatibility with his monster is probably the main reason Superhuman doesn’t end before reaching evolution 2

If Indra has managed to secure Zack for the black mouth to possess I'm not sure why it would want Yuren back. Maybe it can possess two at the same time, who knows

• The female Fenrir's intuition tells it that this is the last invasion, something about a last "pylon".
• Bernhardt, Henri and Malik were able to grow without being killed by the entity that killed the Sea King of the last invasion. They are unusual according to Eisheth, Eye-MC and the dream-people we talk to when ascending the tower with Henri.
• Two Chosen (Aos and Syla) have turned their backs on their masters, although something like that could have happened before, and Syla was also rejected by Memory.

Don't know how it all ties together, but it sure builds up the expectation that something huge is gonna happen.

Also, the first SIN council this update, it is explicitly said there are 8 members there including Langdon, yet only 7 are introduced. I assume it's a typo, though.

If Indra has managed to secure Zack for the black mouth to possess I'm not sure why it would want Yuren back. Maybe it can possess two at the same time, who knows

I'm not convinced that is what happened to Zack. Indra is also nowhere to be found, I think it is more likely that Zack is still occupying him.

It's really quite convenient for the Black Mouth, if you think about it. No need to change Zack's outfit when he gets infected, because he's already wearing something that hides that his skin is covered by telepathic mold.

I think the Sea King was taked down by the Apostles themselves, Power manifested to scorch a Continent on that Planet after all, and i don't think anything other than a 'God' could take down the King/Queen of the Alt Humans, sure there are unrelated Deities in the universe, like the Wasting Mother that Malik's fighting currently, but those seem totally outside the Cycles of Monster Invasion, Malik had to travel to the Outer Rim of the universe to find himself in the situation of facing her. If that's the case, then the Trio might still be in line to be purged by the Apostles once they manifest, as the King and Queen were defeated even after having grown beyond being Spawns, but yeah, the story does make emphasis in this cycle being special, and the Trio as a whole something that shouldn't have been a thing.
