- Deryl knows he’s being mind-fucked, but he isn’t aware enough to escape on his own. Even the MC needs some kind of buff to get out of that situation. Still, Deryl does try to escape—the clone handles that part for him by dreaming while they’re fighting. Even though it wasn’t designed to have that kind of ability, I think it effectively functions as a passive skill, constantly trying to break free. It just takes much longer than how MC doing it with his the eyes help

Because people here persisting that Deryl is getting mindfucked at best with the "I love Ella" But do they didn't know that, Deryl is still aware for his actions trusting Ella, but "Not fully aware" for the consequences trusting Ella. That's when it comes for the "Doll" to reminds him for his memories, but part for his dumbass stubbornness he still continues to fight the Mc.



It's literally in the game itself.

For me i think:
- Jake doesn’t fully control his power yet, so he isn’t even sure what he actually did to Deryl.
- Deryl knows he’s being mind-fucked, but he isn’t aware enough to escape on his own. Even the MC needs some kind of buff to get out of that situation. It's hilarious that you claim he gets it right (and implicitly, that he agrees with you) when he's literally saying that Deryl's mind has been altered and all he can do to escape is get his clone to dream -- although personally I think that was just a happy coincidence and Deryl didn't know that would happen.
Deryl is not at fault for what he did under Jake's mental compulsion.

I could make it happen, I mean this is not the first game I've been nuked on. Well particularly not me, you can still see my statements on the last two page or so, while they're the ones getting nuked lol.
