You're not exactly "grown", but the devil's in details. Asuras were culled and put into place by Indra not because they worshipped Chaos on itself, but in their dogma were "In the beginning, there were only chaos, and from chaos, did the false gods rise.", and that claim that apostles are gods fundamentally inferior to Chaos did. So, it was problem with this specifically, Chaos and asuras' beliefs, not on Apostole vs Arbiter ground. In that above it's even said that in beginning there was ONLY chaos, which seems to delegate even other arbiters to those false gods category. So I don't think Indra would be automatically hostile to Arbiters and their chosen/dogma, he's not even hostile to Chaos in itself, just the "wrongdoings" of their worshippers. After all, he did kill a lot of other chosen for -supposedly- many reasons, one of which was failing to serve their lords in a way he considered right, as with Syla.

And you are right, in how Asura's seemingly regarding Chaos as this sort of Big "G" like on a monotheistic religion was what resulted on their whack, still, Indra being the Zealot he is, and with a record of killing even other chosen, make me think he would hold it against Arbiters as a whole, i mean on the end is adoration of a previous pantheon of Deities, that on itself would downplay his own Lord on the cosmic ladder

I think so. There are some hints that Arbiter worship is taboo among the monsters, with Aglaecwif saying that only fools worship them and Ella saying that she thinks monsters are afraid of insulting the Apostles by worshiping the Arbiters. So yeah, it seems likely that Indra would want to fight an Arbiter if he encountered one. Probably wouldn't succeed at it, but if the Arbiter was still incomplete and Indra hit the avatar incarnation button fast enough, maybe he could stomp it out before it could return to its full power.

As someone else already say up, i think Indra by himself should be enough to kill any version of the eye we have seen so far.

Though an Eye that "born anew" on a MC lvl 4?, that would be worth seeing, and i hope we get a dead end about that, like the one with Cole

Indra by his own strength should be able to defeat the incomplete Eye like Bernie did, unless he was completely outclassed by the trio outside of the avater incarnation.

Speaking about that, what do you guys think the eye was after when he ran from Bernhardt ? He mentioned he had to "find at least one".

I always thought he meant Body and Memory.
Which explains why in both his resurrection he said ''the girl is key'' and called her ''their chosen''. Both times his urgent goal was to reach Ella, he somehow automaticaly knows she is their chosen, and by finding her he probably could establish connection in order to consume them, or rather '' re-absorb'' them into himself. If the theories are correct that is.

Although it is odd he says '' find atleast one'', I mean, they are supposed to be together, if you find one then the other should be within reach aswell so who knows why he phrased it like that.

They work together to accomplish whatever they want, don't need to be together to do so, even if they usually appear together. In one of the dead ends with Ella, there is only the avatar of Memory, not Body, so it's probably just a high likelihood, not a rule.

Just reached the end of the current content. I'll let my thoughts marinate for a while but all I can say right now is wow, there's a lot to unpack with this game!
By the end I was just clicking through the sex scenes to get back to the plot lol, though I have to admit the scenes got a lot better as the game progressed. Especially in the dirty talk department which I never thought I was a fan of in general but it's definitely doing something for me here.

I'm interested, from those that have been following the game and this thread for a long time, what are the most outlandish theories that have been proven true so far? Or at least the ones with some merit? No Ella is our dad or our dad is Zach bs (or is it bs? )

For me the most ridicolous theory that turned out to be true was that Thanos wanted to combine the twins.

The first time I read it was during the SIN infiltration I believe, and I remember thinking it was the most stupid theory I ever heard. Flash-forward to when it happened, I hated that it made so much sense. The theory wasn't 100% right but still was pretty much dead on.

Also when are we getting an eye dead end that doesn't result in prompt jobbing? The level 3 eye mildly inconvenienced Alexis before being casually swatted by Deus, and level 4 eye doesn't give you any satisfaction of at least inciting terror in Cole because it absorbs him in like one line without any of his reaction all before you get one shot.

Mind you its still cool and I love how those dead ends showcase the real terrors of HERO but you don't really get to bask in the power of the eye.

Also when are we getting an eye dead end that doesn't result in prompt jobbing? The level 3 eye mildly inconvenienced Alexis before being casually swatted by Deus, and level 4 eye doesn't give you any satisfaction of at least inciting terror in Cole because it absorbs him in like one line without any of his reaction all before you get one shot.

I don't think we have seen a lvl 4 Eye so far, During the battle of diamonds, MC accept to leave the eye be born again, when on the brink of level 3, so the Eye is born on that level, fresh, the one that appeared during the SIN arc, was the MC as a proper level 3, but he was not on the brink of his fourth. I do think when MC and his group finally make it back to earth, there is gonna be a bad end in which MC fight Indra as either a level four or hit evo while being stomped, having again, the same scenario than during the Dead End Born again, naturally with some crazy feats

I mean, following the thought path of Evolution needing both Body/Memory to be whole once more, and at least one to confidently fight Malik, it all leave Henri as an even more of a freak power-wise, since Paradox is not even truly conscious within him(Eye describing him as transcendent yet still unborn), even worse, Paradox obviously hasn't absorbed neither Truth nor Fantasy, even with those two 'limitations' however, Henri is the Monster that he is, stronger than Malik and surely than Berni, if he just embrace his powers, and that might just mean his own powers as a lvl 5, not even paradox as it is, with that in mind, I come to think Paradox may just be straight up stronger than Evolution

MC's mother ditched the 4th mommy (her mission) for an Arbiter. The way the eye talked to MC in the last update made me suspicious. It's been so long, so I might have forgotten, but I think last time the eye said MC and it are one, right? That made me think if MC is a piece of an Arbiter. Probably his mom's egg was inseminated by two beings, lmao, with her husband's dna and the Arbiter's piece.

Bernardt is the strongest I'm pretty sure, everyone at H.E.R.O talks about him as HIM, the captain of captains, strongest superhuman alive etc. and even the eye say's when talking about the trio "There are two others nearby, each uniquely dangerous, perhaps as strong as he. Perhaps." although it does go on to say the other two would've been a better match for it to be fair and we saw how easily Bernhardt dealt with him anyway so maybe it's not the most reliable narrator lol. Anyway the point is that both Bernhardt and Malik are constantly mentioned as being equal to or even stronger than Henri which would therefore mean matching or even eclipsing an Arbiter. But Malik and Bernhardt don't fit any Apostles let alone an Arbiter themselves, they're just fire and wind, so how the hell would they have fire and wind on the level of a paradox level Henri? That's the big issue I just cant find a way to explain just how those other two with their rather basic skillset are able to match an Arbiter inherting guy, without being a match for something like that themselves, even if we say Henri isnt fully embracing it yet.

Plus from a meta perspective it would take quite a lot away from the MC and his connection if there's already another guy with thats already met the super unique situation needed, and that same guys also been around for decades already. Maybe the MC genuinely isn't that special but so far it feels like it took a perfect storm for him to be in the position he is. I will say though I do think we're meant to think he is linked paradox at this point if that makes any sense because there is for sure a LOT of hits towards that theory but I just cant get around explaining the other 2 on his level in any way to make it fully fit so I'm just head-cannoning it away as a red herring until we know more lol

I mean, just as you yourself said, Henri has not embraced his power just yet, in fact we can say he does reject them, even if we think about him being the inheritor of paradox as a fact for the sake of this discussion, we would need to have into account two things, 1. Henri does not embrace his powers, being apparently afraid and deeply distrustful bout' them and 2. Paradox is not complete, since the apostles of Truth and Fantasy are still out there.

So, Malik and Berni are just on the same level(or on Berni's case, above) as Henri, an Aberrant Superhuman that don't use his powers to it's fullest potential, they are not on the level of a fully fledged Paradox, that would probably need to absorb it's 'offspring', Fantasy and Truth to be whole.

Besides, while their powers are simple on function, they really are powerful, Malik can literally create heat akin to that of the core of a star just with flames, not cosmic components not anything, and the mf does it casually, Berni on the other hand can lift the weight of a 'world' from his shoulders casually with manipulation of pressure, and apparently control cosmic winds, not to mention that the both of them can reach Planck Heat/Pressure, at that level you are just fucking with time and space as a secondary effect of the main phenomena.

Ah I always believed Ella chastized herself for not being chosen as a avatar, or, if the theories are correct and Body and Memory are ''traitorous'' apostles looking to bring back Arbiters, it is plausible that Body and Memory initially intended for Ella to be a host for the Eye, aka the Evolution arbiter, but she failed the ritual or her genetic make-up isn't as good as the Mcs so she couldn't fulfill that role and the Eye couldn't reside within her.

I think that's what she meant by ''chosen'', she IS their chosen as for as what everyone in the universe thinks the word means, but I assumed in her case ''chosen'' meant more than a chosen like Indy or Va.


And look here, he didn't ''mildly inconvenience'' Alexis, he, after few moments of waking up at not even a fraction of his full strength and by all means a husk compared to what he could be, was able to remove Alexis from the fight entirely in mere seconds after encountering her, he literaly states aftert swatting her across the dimension that Goliath was his true target.

It is worth noting that in a world of so many powerful individuals, there are only four of the absolute top most powerful who could stop him, and that was in two forms where he was prematurely born.

Also I'm holding hope that when the Mc gets to evolve to level four we will see another Eye rampage / dead end, my hope is that the Eye will prematurely ressurect again and fght Indra.
