If she had to worry about the entirety of the sun's power damaging while also trying to shapeshift her body to escape the sun's gravity and return to Earth, she simply would most likely fail.

Ella can deal with temperatures higher than the sun's core by willing her shapeshifting power to maintain her form, but that also leaves her unable to move or risk changing her form to leave her exposed to injury, since both moving and being injured count as changes to her form.

Malik's "Core Heat" attack was described as "heat so intense that it warps gravity itself", even breaking down Hexenringe's dimension momentarily. It was also described as "infinite heat", tho I believe this is hyperbole as Malik has even stronger attacks.

Ella was able to escape this attack because it was concentrated into a pillar around her body and then took the chance to capture some hostages to delay Malik's continuing his attacks. She would not have this luxury against the sun as it is fucking massive and its gravity would be actively keeping her in place.

Imo Ella's chance of survival would be to have obtained enough spare mass to shapeshift herself into something that can resist the sun better while also using that mass to make herself into something like a biological rocket ship or a sling to shoot herself out of the sun's orbit, leaving the rest of the spare biomass to be consumed by the sun.

Whether or not she could replicate this while escaping from the sun is debatable, which is why I brought the screenshots and math. If she managed to survive and immediately recover from what might very well be at least twenty times the resting heat of the sun's core, I think one could argue she'd be able to survive the sun's actual core for a while.

Then again, I don't think she'd get caught in Nico's portals regardless.

Something that we'd also be forgetting is the sheer mass of the sun, aside from the heat of its core, its intense gravity keeping you in its orbit and the range its gravity extends, we're talking about enough mass and weight that puts Goliath's strength to shame, 333,000 times the Earth's weight after all.

What I'm trying to say is that Ella is stronger, Ella is faster, Ella is more skilled, and Nico has the perfect power to hang on to the fight and/or bring support, as well as to keep the support alive.

Regeneration isn't durability, but just like MC, Ella can massively enhance her durability if she's willing to sacrifice agility, without really sacrificing regeneration. Which, in the case she's sent to the sun, would obviously help her survive.

She can't regenerate forever, but she doesn't need to. She only needs to leave the sun. Which, again, she probably won't even reach in the first place, considering she dodged Nico's portals with relative ease.

Your listing these stats as if they are a given or if it matters, I mean faster? Yes if sprinting, moving around? Obviously not.

No she didn't, the giant body was wiped out without a trace and it says Ella surprises her from the "lingering" smoke and fire, lingering as in what comes after.

I think we both know she can't use it while moving, its a thematic power and not changing in any manner is what allows it to do what it does.

The last arc is most likely gonna wrap up before we get to see any full-on cosmic fallout, if that ever happens is probably gonna take place on the(possible)sequel, still, I'm pretty sure we are gonna see at the very least an Apostle properly in Action in this Arc, be either stomping some poor bastards like the 7th did before the story begin with Kronos Squad, or doing some crazy stuff like bring the Qliphoth all the way from Monster World to Earth, anyways, what Apostle would you like to see on action on this arc?

Personally, I would like to see The Second again, between all the Siblings, who seem to have a stick up their rears with wanting a perfect Spawn, Power seem to respect feats and mindset more than just plain compatibility with his trait, Michael for instance is a poor match for the 2nd's Trait, nonetheless by proving himself by killing a Leilong and putting it as an offering, he gained the 2nd's attention and 'gift' of ascension, beyond that, the second seem to be cool, all Eldritch Mentality aside, he seem to crave a fight, straightforward and simple, with Michael on his dream understanding that what Power wants for him, is to grow strong enough to eventually fight each other, also for some reason Power also fancies MC(as seen on Michael's dream, perhaps he also want to fight MC?), which is interesting.

I'd like to see the Time, personally. It's supposed to be Apostles one through six showing up to this invasion, and we've met the other five already. Time making an appearance could be really scary, too, causality manipulation opens the path to some utter nightmares. Time loops or inversions can get really unsettling, the Time inflicting those on a mass scale would definitely sell the idea that the Apostles all descending to the battlefield is a loss condition. It would be a good way to establish stakes.

Agree, Aglaecwif is insanely powerful. Like, even though Malik’s a beast, he kinda lost some cred after trying to torch Ella and nothing happened. But Aglaecwif? She’s one of the oldest monsters out there, probably millions of years old. Can you imagine the kind of mastery she’s got over her fantasy powers? Honestly, I can’t even picture her losing, no way.

I kinda get what they mean, Malik is on the same tier than Bernhardt and Henri, even the eye recognize him as a monstrosity that shouldn't exist, but the only action we see for him(until the latest update)displayed him not being able to get rid of Ella and instead letting Nyx handle things, which in my opinion doesn't leave him on a bad, BAD light, even less since he's capable of much more, and even being on Earth is probably already a restrain for him, still, is understandable where Zeke comes from with their comment, Bernhardt and Henri doesn't have any such 'spot' on their historial thus far.

A power/corruption playthrough is probably what you wanna do for lore, since there's lore hidden behind high corruption, and I don't think the opposite is true.

You can also save/scroll back when there are multiple options of which you can only get a few, for example when buying from Shopkeep or when talking to Aglaecwif.

In addition to what Elduriel and OnlineRando said, if you've already played through the game once, install the walkthrough mod. It'll make hitting those Dead Ends and tweaking your stats/money for whatever is necessary all the easier. You won't have to constantly look at the guide, other than to use it as a checklist really.
