There's technically still time in the world left for the release to still be in June. About 10 hours or so. Though if we are being pushed back to early July it would have been nice for a status update on patreon back on the 28th.

He know that Nyx did killed Ella and he couldn't access to Ella's memories due to Nyx's leftover energy. MC didn't want to mess around with hero after learning of Nyx's power.

In addition to what others have said, while the MC wouldn't have seen Nyx's attack on Ella from his vantage point, there's no way he could have missed Nico's or Malik's. They were throwing around multi-megaton explosions, that's the sort of energy release that's visible from thousands of kilometers away. And the MC would know from his time with Nico that that wasn't a difficult feat for her, and guess that given Malik's reputation it was even less straining for him.

It would be strange if the Mc wasn't informed that it was Malik's role to kill most of the monsters in the battle of diamonds, right? Even if he didn't know he likely heard a report of the battle before the press conference afterwards and, hearing that Malik killed the majority of the enemy force by himself without struggle and that Nyx's powers completely neutralized any form of recovery must have been mind-blowing.
