People who don't understand nuance.

The whole point of the Netorare fetish is how the protagonist feels when someone is having sex with someone they like. The protagonist and the person the protagonist likes don't need to be in a romantic relationship (or any relationship) for the protagonist to feel hurt, betrayed, jealous, etc.

This is why, generally, both people who hate NTR and like NTR agree that the above is NTR.
It's the same bullshit that a lot of others are spewing in other game threads when there are women in a relationship or fucking someone else other than the MC (or god forbid they aren't virgins), and they all go crying NTR in the thread.

and MC doesn't really care who Liz fucks... sometimes he even encourages her iirc (been a while since I've played that route though)

People use the term NTR incorrectly without understanding what exactly it is, and slap that "tag" on literally everything. It has a definition, and stuff outside that is not NTR, like it or not.
So from all I read here. There aint any netorare by our definition in this game...
It is correctly being used actually. In fact the actual tag rules say all it has to be is a love interest. On top of that, that's how vndb did it too. So the only people who use this alternative "it only counts when you're married" are a small minority.

We have another tag called "cheating" that probably best represents what you're going for.

they weren't even in a relationship :WaitWhat: :WaitWhat: :WaitWhat:

don't care much how F95 bends the definition, and secondly on the "NTR" route Liz isn't an actual LI, just a friend/fuckbuddy at most

The main character doesn't make it a secret that he has a crush on her.

And how is F95 "bending" the definition? It was using vndbs definition. You're thinking of the "cheating" tag, it's a different tag.

Here's the definition of netorare by the vndb:
View attachment 5008354
They must've changed it recently, it used to say ntr type a b c and i think a was she was forced and never wanted it, b was she was forced but eventually liked it, and c was she was completely willing from start to finish. It seems they revised it a bit. F95 always has the same definition basically, without the "why she's being stolen" typing.

Again, he's thinking of the cheating tag for sure.

Did you miss my last sentence or something?
Not only do haters of NTR think it is NTR, but lovers of NTR do as well.

But unlike solo leveling, other characters have a right to exist and be plot relevant (yes, I am petty in my anger gainst SL)
And the tops of power from the Humanity Side are actually respected, there is a world of difference in how the Captains and Henri are treated in comparison to the National Hunters from SL

Holy shit I dont wanna come off rude but man its like the 14 year old goth kid in class made their first porn game.

First impressions aside this is the top rated NTR game on this site so I suppose that warrants a try, I will give my thoughts after.
Wait for the 1.0, it will rework the old art. [EDIT] Or don't, the plot is more than worth it. I offered to wait because 1.0 was supposed to be the next update (last time I was in on the news, at least) but it seems that WeirdWorld is kinda shit at estimations so yeah, I don't know anymore.

Had a crush on her*. The only way for the NTR route to start is if the MC doesn’t help her and admits he doesn’t like her anymore. You’re just spewing shit bro, no offense. I read above where you said that while the MC liked Liz, she was having some flings, and you're calling that NTR? LMAO. Either you’ve never seen their flashback or your reading comprehension is on par with a chicken’s.

Back to the NTR topic, for NTR to actually matter, the MC has to care, and the girl has to at least enjoy it or do it willingly. Here, neither the MC gives a damn, nor does Liz do it because she loves the fat sponsor. So yeah, if you want to be a nerd about it, call it NTR, but it sure as hell doesn’t feel like one.

*I know y'all involved in a bit NTR war so just skip over this as I'm just venting. Don't say I didn't warn you.*

Let me start by saying I am enjoying myself with the title so far. It's fun, the style is cool and different and even the ridiculously huge boobs don't put me off that much as the characters are interesting. That being said this MC is becoming one of my least favorites of all time. His derp factor is so high I couldn't enjoy the title with my normal name and I had to restart with a derp name.

I actually tried to keep track of the amount of times he answers questions with "what? huh? err? why? huh? sigh" plus the endless complaining, useless introspection and the one trait you can normally count on to identify a derp. He's ridiculously easy to startle and his reaction is pure drama queen. "Waaaaaggghhh!" when someone unexpected speaks to him. We can add his perpensity to vocalize his thoughts at the worst time. Sprinkles on top. :)

I was keeping all this inside until the frat party. This is the moment after which I had to go and restart with a new name. During the party you eventually enter a room with Mutant Kenny and Jess. You and Mutant Kenny start to mix it up and you end up throwing him through the floor and into a room downstairs where he immediately start killing people.

Leaving out Ella's lines which could run parallel to the MC on the (it's all my fault) choice there are SEVENTY FOUR lines of dialog/introspection/panels before he finally jumps in the hole after the monster who has been constantly slaughtering students from the second he was thrown down there by the MC. Seventy four lines of "Should I do this? Should I do that? *girl screens* But what if this? But what if that? What should I do?!? I don't know! derp Derp DERP!!!

It really does help, thank you to whoever taught me this trick, to change the name from my own, which I normally use for a fun FPS experience to some derp name where I can think of the MC as a character seperate from me. I wasn't joking either I really am enjoying myself and am getting hooked into the story. Now if we could just get the MC a brain transplant I'd be gtg. ;)

Can't relate because I always gave a name different of my own in games, never liked self-insert. If the MC had a default name, I wound had used the default one.

Fair enough so here's a question for you and we'll have to be subtle. Is there an MC that you'd be proud or happy to be if you did chose to lend your name? Like for me...I could say my favorite MC is probably from "dropsag". I can hang my name on him proudly while this MC here... not so much.

Personally i really liked the MC from Superhuman. Sure he comes off a bit dumb and gullible at times, but it feels more like he just doesn’t give a fuck about most things, and that’s just part of his character. It fits him.

Now to answer your question, I’d say Orion from Eternum.

This is a tough question for me. I’ve always seen the main characters in games, anime, and so on simply as characters. I enjoy following their stories and seeing how they grow over time. Of course, when I talk about games, I mean ones where the main character has a defined personality—so I’m not counting characters like the Dragonborn from Skyrim, for example.

Now, if I had to choose... maybe Geralt from The Witcher? I’d be proud to be that guy.
