Is there any game like Superhuman? I am not a vanilla kind guy, so lewd wise, I am here for the gender bender scenes of this game (normally I would go the NTR and NTS route with Liz, but I like the characters too much to let her be raped). But to be real, I am here for the story and for the amazing lore.

Is there any game with a vibe similar to this one?
1. Parasite black (Man get infested with an otherworld parasite that make him stronger, now he decide how to use it to protect his people, also, it is planned that one of the powers will be gender bender).

2. Cataclyzm (A Man that want to become an famous adventurer for glory, fame, riches and getting laid, with evil and good routes and an mysterious past that make him ¨special¨, for example, his red eyes).

3. The last sovereign (THE masterpiece of the RPGMs where you control a man infected with an shard of an Incubus King, he is like an anti-hero that decide the fate of many and make a huge harem).

These are the games that i know of, unfortunately, there are not many storys of cool anti-heros that face hard choices without being cringe or stupidly edgy.

SUPERHUMAN REVIEW

Final Score: 4/5

TL; DR

A 5 star game with an extremely oppressive and restrictive early game segment. If you can get past that, it's one of the greatest AVNs I've ever played.

THE BAD

Some people will lambast the game's less than stellar artwork. My tolerance for bad art is pretty high, so this was never a major concern for me, but I can understand how this can be a major obstacle for others. Luckily, Weird plans on reworking this come version 1.0, so we'll see.

My other concern, which I do share, is how stringent the game's early days are. In the first 34 or so days it is extremely easy to lock yourself out of routes, lose power/skill points, or stumble onto a dead end. I'm fine with not getting the best power/skill points, because I love figuring out how to min max encounters. I'm fine with dead ends, because I'm already saving a whole lot. But I'm not fine with the really restrictive timings for routes. If I don't want to be on the Emily route, for instance, then I should be given the choice. I don't like having to be on Emily event 6 or whatever before Day 20 in order to be on Emily's route going forward. That's not fun for me or for new players, and removing the reliance on using a walkthrough in order to see all of the LIs is something WeirdWorld should strive to achieve in v1.0 as well.

THE OKAY

Sometimes the game suffers from weird pacing issues, especially in the Monster World arc. MC being an idiot is fine, but sometimes it stretches disbelief. I personally enjoy how the characters are pretty cryptic, but sometimes it feels like they're just doing it for the sake of it. And it feels rough how half of the cast stop being relevant starting with the HERO arc, but I have hopes they'll be reintroduced more consistently going forward.

THE GOOD

I really fucking love minmaxing. I like saving at every choice and redoing entire arcs just to get 2 more power points. I've replayed the whole chunk from Tiffany's choice all the way to the most recent update at least ten times all on it's own because I wanted one or two more power points and a sliver more money.

The writing, while not perfect, is easily passable for what it needs to be, and each decision feels weighty and real. I love rereading into the itty details and trying to predict what we know about the world and it's lore and where future arcs will take us. This is a game I can see going on for a long while yet, and there's so many things I want to see happen before we finally close the doors on things. I am personally of the opinion that we are only just about halfway done with the game, since I expect the MC to spend a significant chunk of time at each evolution stage.

I love the LIs, I think they are all beautiful and feel like real characters. I want to see them more and more with each update, even if it means dragging them into MC's horrible reality. Even the non LIs are just incredible to see, characters like Deus, Bernhardt, Clark, Deryl, etc, are all a treat.

CONCLUSION

I love Superhuman. It's such a good game that I've fully replayed it about seven or eight times now, not counting reloading from earlier saves to better optimize points. It's got a couple of big noticeable flaws, especially in the early game, but outside of those it is a really fun experience. If v1.0 comes along and fixes these things, it's an easy 5 stars.

This has nothing to do with the new update but im curious what everyone chose for the hero name? I called myself Abyss
I named him Dark, you know, because he's dark. Also, my other option for Beelzebub, since he's the Demon of Gluttony, and well, in MC, he can eat humans and monsters. My hunger for power is also there.

No, if you read what Death says “be careful with what you eat” she’s giving you a hint about what you did wrong, which is literally eating Yuren’s followers. There are two of them you have the option to kill, just don’t kill both, and you’ll be able to get past her.
I see~ thank you!
Sadly I dont got a save there... gonna start the whole game again XD

See if these two games work for you: one with corruption and one without. You also have to understand that I didn't kill multiple people and I didn't do gender-swap scenes, since I don't like them.

I chose a name I heard from The Lord of the Rings lore, back in ancient times, Sauron pretended to be someone good and gave out gifts. He called himself "Annatar", so now it feels natural for me to use that as the MC’s hero name, hahaha.
