So the shenanigans are probably all happening within the same universe. They're just jumping planets, through teleports and traveling through space. Its like a combination of the Annihilation Wave and Galactus, from cosmic Marvel. A wave of monsters destroying life throughout the universe, but also with a nebulous (noble?) purpose.

Its the Other World that is a different dimension. A realm of thought and memories.

Or at least, if they are, their contribution to the Other World must be as distant from the section accessible from Earth as their worlds are from Earth. But the monster world is so close as to directly mingle with Earth's section. I wonder what causes that? Some sort of sympathetic connection from all the monsters that have traveled to Earth and so have memories of both places, maybe?

It could be a bunch of things. The closeness between the influence of the human and monster worlds on the other world might be because they're quite literally being spatially connected via portals because of the invasion, and the other, far off worlds have their distant place in the other world.

It could also be that the human, as well as unknown worlds, like the worlds of the aliens Nico found, affect the other world in the same way, being that most of them are basically ghost things that have little to no bearing on it. Meanwhile, many monsters, as well as superhumans/vessels, are directly connected to the other world because of the nature of their powers.

I would hazard its that last thought of yours. Tied in to whatever it is the monsters are doing on Earth.

Iirc, that city in the Other World is the result of the joined thoughts/memories/beliefs/etc of living people. So with spacial breaches and Hexenringe portals connecting both planets together, the City is likewise connected to the thoughts and memories from both sides. We know there are locales aside from the City, and I think Syla said they get more bonkers the further away you get. I figure that means the Other World does connect to the entire universe and all its stellar bodies and life forms, but the City is special in that it connects to both Earth and the monster world, instead of being a thoughtform creation of just one planet and its inhabitants.

I mean.... to be fair, it's worth noting the Mc is the last person on earth and on the monster planet that has any right to criticize other people's promiscuity.

Without meaning to sound like a feminist, but those examples are virgin nuns compared to the Mc, by the end of the current update I bet he has a higher body count even than Liz. And by the end of the game he'll likely have more than Liz, Christie and Jess combined. The dude fucks anything with a hole, he literaly had the choice to fuck that mangled corpse of the Myniak back in the sewers. He literaly fucked a corpse in another instance, and will likely fuck or get fucked by every single slightly humanoid looking species of monsters by the end of the game.

Even if in your own personal playthrough you reject every single sex scene, the choices are still there to appear, meaning it's proof the Mc has it in him to be the biggest slut.

It's possibly because Earth has a high enough concentration of Monsters, Superhumans and Apostles (shells) that it makes it sync up well. When Nico tells MC about her journey out into the universe, she mentions finding alien life. However, she doesn't mention anything about monsters or intelligent lifeforms. So it's likely a lot of barren planets with nothing but lower lifeforms inhabiting them. At least between Earth and the Monster World.

Earth on the other hand has likely had superhumans and monsters present for at least a bit over a millennium since Valravn was turned by the 7th Apostle. Maybe even longer too since the 7th likely only went to earth because he noticed his siblings appearing them. That's along with the Rebis creating Bakunawa to observe the moon and they're considered "Ancient Monsters". Pointing to the fact that they were created a long time ago for that purpose.

Though if I may add to it, Alice is also in my opinion very monogamous. I believe she even has a few lines where she says she would rip the head off any woman that gets it on with the Mc ( though it was a light banter ), still, there are many pieces of conversation that suggest Alice is absolutely not into sharing, and I hope WeirdWorld keeps it that way, I hate it when Visual Novels dilute a heroines personality just to accomodate the harem route enthusiasts. Alice is absolutely not into sharing.

She likely also views sex in a much more restrained way due to her past trauma. To be honest, if I'm doing an Alice route it would feel like a betrayal to fuck other chicks, afte her absolutely heartfelt speech by the lake ? Nah, Mc does her dirty if he cheats.
When she finds out he's been getting it on with Amber she also seems very slighted but suppreses it.

The current pre-1.0 estimate the MC gives for the length of time they've been in the Monster World is "more than a year", but it is true that they had no truly accurate way of measuring time. As for Dead End 49, it's ambiguous how much time passed, but possibly years passed by before that plank attack happened, so there is some wiggle room for a small time skip.

Could have been decades even, if not more, Glae said that the only beings that could travel the distance between Earth and Monster World by motion were the 6th Aposlte and the 8th Light, anyone else in her words would take an eternity, sure, Bernhardt and Malik *might* be exceptions even in speed, but still, it surely take either of them fuckton of time to reach Monster World, even more so since they wouldn't know where the fuck within the infinite void of space to search, they might have forced a Hexringe to open a portal, or maybe they had Nico at hand, whatever is the case, the DeadEnd hint at it being something far in the future, possibly after Earth was destroyed and Either Malik/Berni began to travel across the cosmos waging war against the Apostles.

Actually, I could be potentially remembering things wrong. Maybe I'm having a Syla moment? I could've sworn Dave said he fucked her and that she was too crazy so he's dumping her. Ella then said something along the line of guys love talking about girls they fuck at the start.

But looking at it again, it seems to be much more vague than I remembered. I wish I had my old saves with all of these dialogue points saved. If I remembered that earlier part wrong then the memory part probably isn't as clear about it as well. Especially if that was Christie talking about fucking.

That also means WW had a Syla moment too, since he said that it was true that Dave fucked Ella. Oh well, if I'm wrong and it's not true now, it will be in the future. At least on the NTR route in 1.0, that is.

Think about it, for that to happen nothing else needs to happen then a few people realizing that you do share the same space.
Be that the universe, a planet or a city. To the mind distance is merely an idea, time is a reality though and once the time to cross a certain distance becomes virtually 0, you and the monsters might as well live in the same city.

So for the city to connect humans and monsters they only need to think of each other as close by. And the monsters are liable to have done that for a long time already.

Through the Portal is the same mental effort as walking down the street.

Dw, I don’t care much about the art. I’m here for the story, which I’ve heard is very good. I’m also hoping for some good romance and interactions with the girls. Again, thanks, and I’ll make sure to give this a thorough chance and not bail early.
