delete every folder.
unpack the game.
start the game and quit. <- if error here its the game or your pc
unpack any patches and paste them into /game/ subfolder or where required. start and quit. <- if error here its the patches

It seems that it's the mod causing the problem. I can open the game and have it run no problem, but when I add the mod the error occurs.

everything is working fine for me.
Can you tell me what action you do when it crashes and post the full traceback.
ok so i extracted the sfc file and i get a folder with 2 more files scripts.rpa and SFC_keys.rpc my question is in what directory do i paste them?

For installation Game + SimpleFullCheat
- Download and install Game
- Download SFC_0.17.0.zip and uncompress in SuperPowered/game/ directory
ok so i tried doing that but i keep getting an error message saying:
I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.
While parsing D:\Games\SuperPowered_v0.40.01-pc\SuperPowered_v0.40.00-pc/game/SFC_Keys.rpy.

It is 40.01 version
in the 40.01.rar folder and exe named 40.00 but in game it says 40.01 build so could be a naming error
