it's also very hard to get points with characters you can't interact outside events like sophie and tamara

lowering inhibitions and raising corruption is fairly easy, the hardest part of that is grinding influence and money to get access to powers depending on your initial skills. It's also annoying raising girls trust at the beggining when they leave after only one talk, but this is just at the beggining

I would have a hard time playing without Get Lucky for the same reason. You might also want to give Radioactive a try (which requires Get Lucky). It adds options that make both Sophie and Tamara a lot less grindy among other things.

I use it, having tamara on the phone helps with her a LOT

it's also a good option to not get only one part of alignment specific scenes and to choose your favorite picture for each girl instead of it depending on her inhibition and corruption

but it's not mandatory for me, there is a trick to raise sophie and tamara points faster using get lucky as well, all you need to do is rollback after you get any relation points to before the prompt shows up, you will be able to get the maximum amount of points you could get with that scene

How do you get Tamara on the phone? I read that she shows up on your phone once she joins the club, but she still hasn't on mine.

maybe you installed the mod after she had already joined? I got her exactly like that
