There is music and some sounds but they were added in later chapters, I do not remember when, but it does not keep being mute for too long.

But there is no sound in first chapters

Choices have a greater impact on the chapter itself and on subsequent ones, but in the latest updates it already counts towards taking a position on one side or the other of the story.

Seems like I came back just at the right time! No wonder there is so much content now!

I need to set aside some time to play through the full game properly now!

Rarely if ever have I seen a dev with such a steady output and open communication. Even if some of the reasons for your post dont sound too happy, I think you can be proud of yourself for finishing such a project, especially for your first game!
