As far as I am concerned the extreme cases in the movies could also be because of superpowers or plot armor. Maybe once or twice by luck or against an inexperienced opponent. But if it is jokingly one-sided and frequent, it is probably superpowers or plot armor that the opponent doesn't have.

please learn to read. it's not them knowing how to fight, i have no issues with that. it's them winning a fight against a man, especially in CQC without weapons. that's biologically impossible for humans.

However, this game is still realistic because, as Ethan mentioned, MC neither had combat experience against humans nor was trained in hand-to-hand combat prior to mid-Episode 2 (Ethan mentions that to MC in the ring, after MC gets saved by Ethan (K.O.s Ghost, one of Gabriel's, "Jack", goons) when MC gets beaten up by Jack). The initial purpose for Ethan to set up MC with Claire was to get trained by Claire (One reason Ethan attached Claire there was to train MC while they were at the outpost and scavenging supplies because by that point Ethan fully trusts MC).

You can't really hope to win a fight when you can't even hit your opponent to begin with. Claire was with Ethan's group and is battle-hardened for some time (between a few months - 2 years) (She became a civilian combatant with Ethan's group during one of the the evacuations led by Ethan and has been in Ethan's group long enough to also know about "people", like the Manhunters, exist); MC only got a training montage after his first spar with Claire.

The fact that you regularly need to click 6 times (or wait 6 seconds) to advance a single line of dialogue because there's a "scene" of a character turning their head back and forth a couple of times is extremely bad for the pacing

I think the default key to skip ahead of text, except choices is spacebar; you can check Help for that. I think you can also change the time it takes to auto-advance time with Auto-Forward Time / Text Speed in the Settings; I don't know, I personally enjoyed the story

Just wanted to say I discovered this game a week ago and I really enjoy it! It really helps me unwind at the end of the day. I specifically like the attention to detail this game has -- small details*, renderings**, and transitions***.

I don't want to see this VN get abandoned -- great story, great effort, high quality artwork, so:

• I am right now studying CS and school starts in <2 months. However, because I work at a startup until mid-August and have a few things to take care of, I should be more available by the end of August.
• If you are interested, I don't mind putting my RTX3060 to work for renders -- I live close enough to school to be back home for the weekends and I take my laptop to school. However, I run Linux on my desktop, and it will probably take a bit of concentrated effort to figure out whether or not I can run certain software, so do let me know a bit earlier.
• I admit I looked at the source code and I think I can also DM you some refactoring suggestions to simplify the codebase based on what I think you are trying to do but saving a few variables to decrease bloat. But I have to say excellent job dividing out the scenes and avoiding boolean hell with the code base.

Don't be discouraged! The story is amazing! One thing I felt missing from two previous VNs (1 completed, 1 abandoned) I have played is the mundane dialogue that doesn't advanced the plot but could be pieced together to explain how another character's attitude toward MC changes.

My biggest two concerns with the story so far is the inconsistency between Ethan's attitude towards MC and his treatment to MC, given how much attention you have done so for other characters and MC. Also, [See Spoiler]. I recognize the first is a minute detail relative to the rest of the story and the second was basically an easy and dramatic way to end Ep2, because you stated you were pressed for time at the end of Ep2:

This is one of the best AVN I have played not only are the renders beautifully made but its a breath of fresh air to have a game that isn't about some college kid or some medieval time period, I was super invested at the edge of my seat the whole time during episode 2 had so much fun and it was fairly long.

So far Claire is my absolute favorite not only is she super hot but I feel like she has so much chemistry with the MC overall solid 10 out of 10 game from me, I will definitely buy this one when it comes to steam to show some support.

They're mostly talking about the scenes where a character does a very minimum gesture, its somewhat of a trend in VN's and it can be pretty annoying especially when repeated multiple times and it does tend to add a "break" to whatever your doing so it can knock you out of the experience. Like a character wiggling her butt 8 times in a row, could have just did the full wiggle once, and then if someone wants to repeat it they have the option to rollback and forward, which works amazingly well

Then theres the eye-screwing characters do when they look up at mc, down at crotch, back up to MC, back down to crotch, to the side, to the other side, back down to crotch, back up at MC and he goes "oh I'm getting some signals here" lmao.

In fairness I dont particularly hate the effort but its one of those things thats like.... "we were so caught up in seeing if we could, that we never considered if we should" almost like a subtle flex in a way heh.

On another note
While I would easily rate this game highly and highly anticipate the next release, some of the shots in ep2 were really bad. I have no complaints on some of the changes, "Mommy" Claire was a little weird though I get the intention, would have to be re-written as Mamacita, but still realistic for her to say "Mommy" cause she constantly harps on the MC being her kids age so she's literally old enough to be his mother. Alot of the spicy scenes were shot in a weird perspective, wasn't really sure why. MC was taking up most of the screen/action, usually you want to center on the woman, but MC was blocking alot of good shots. There was the eyecam with the Claire scene also a bit jarring rather than going into a third person, and yeah, idk. I didn't mind the faux animations as much, cause it still looks good but then when you get the real animations you got a whole lot of man and very little woman lol.

Hi everyone, after a storm affected my city, the entire city has been without power and it might stay that way for a few days. Luckily, I have my notebook with me, so I have been able to work on the writing. However, I won't be able to make posts or render while I am without power as I can't access my main computer.
My house withstood the storm very well, but outside my house, the power wires are on the ground, so it might take a while before they restore power. Today there will be electric storms and Monday will be the last storm for now. After that, I hope things get back to normal.
This is a unique event, as storms like this are not common here, so the country's power infrastructure was not prepared. Even my phone data is not working well. Luckily, I could make this post. It's a storm hitting South America.
For the future, I will see if I invest in emergency power source devices for emergencies like this.
As soon as the power is back on, I will upload some posts about devlogs and more.

Yeah, I appreciate the effort the devs put in for it too. Perhaps it was originally intended to be a looped animated scene but due to limited resources it was decided to render 1/15th or 1/30th of the scenes?

So Claire has good genes and hasn't hit the wall yet . MC is lucky Cassie, Claire's daughter, is still alive too -- she also has a non-zero chance of also staying young-looking for a long time.

Loved the new episode. Delighted to see pregnancy is going to be a thing, and that the harem will probably be any actual harem, with all the girls knowingly and happily sharing equally, and importantly that there's lots of love and romance involved.

The one thing I find annoying is the morality tracker. The two sides, Warlord and Peacemaker shouldn't be mutually exclusive in the way that they are. You don't become a monster destroying monsters. Giving no peace or quarter to gangs of rapists and slavers when they're in our territory is good and just. That is Making Peace. Lording War, would be going out to find innocent groups of people and raiding them or demanding tribute etc. Finding other survivor groups and forming alliances and friendships with them is Bringing Peace. I hate hate hate the Warlord look, but i refuse to allow slavers and rapists to live freely.

He's legitimately hunting a young girl to enslave her and destroy her mentally through various means of unpleasant experiences. You have more than enough ammunition at that point that its a morally correct choice and I would bet my life majority of people, even internet-shut in's wouldnt bat an eye at that kind of decision nor would even feel conflicted over it lol.

There's a difference between killing someone thats coming towards you that you tell to stop 30 times and they just keep coming to you, which results in shooting them. Thats a morally heavy decision. You dont know their intent, they could have been confused, distant, harmless, etc.
Versus something like a man-hunter, or a bandit in an apocalypse that isn't just looking to steal material possessions from you but instead wants to torture, rape, murder, other people that they come across. That's a morally light decision. You might have a small conscious issue over it just because it was the first time you killed someone but at the end of the day you would easily talk yourself out of it because your living in an apocalyptic world where everything is already so bad, and theres already tons of death and destruction via the infected.
They basically lose all forms of humanity when they decide to go down that path. I dont think it should weigh at all in the morality scale for that interaction. From the start of the interaction there was no negotiations with that crowd, it was either run and knock out a dude or potentially purge 2 bigger monsters than the infected.

All I'm saying is a monster is a monster. Killing said monsters will not and should not weigh on anyone. Unless we are harming/killing non-combatants/innocents, it should never come into play. None of what we've done so far should cause any moral issues.
