Thanks for the reply. You can go to ANY porn site and search young girls and you'll find hundreds of 18 year old girls that LOOK underage. But a digital animated image of a youngish girl is banned? So stupid but I'm just ranting. One of my favorites is teenage looking girls (many are in their 20's) with BIG boobs or an adult body. Too young doesn't really do anything for me (makes me feel dirty). My advice would be if you're going to go with small boobs use an adult looking face. But really these standards from Patreon are too arbitrary depending on the age and sex of person working there. Like I've said in other posts... It is what it is.... Stupid.

i dont think patreon basd themself on the physic alone.
i mean, sure it count if the char look very young.
but its also a matter of the char that look young role. like if that specific char is the "sister" or something similar to the MC. its kind of obvious to get an idea of how old she is based on MC look too.

The crazy thing is if you replace 'Patreon' with 'America' you would have a very valid comment about the laws that both Patreon & Paypal are trying to stay on the right side of. I'm not trying to derail the thread here, but if you look up the laws on the so called Obscene Materials in the U.S. you'll come across something called the Miller Test, the wording of which would probably remind you of a certain part of Patreon's terms & conditions. Because, you know, having actual definitions in your laws is just too much work.

(Yeah, I had a lot of free time this past year. Canadian winters & broken legs will just hand that out like candy.)

Any-hoo, as fun as it is to discuss how "The Man" is telling us the when imaginary titties are appropriate or not, I am looking forward to giving this game a shot. RIC was fairly well done, and the whole 'Making this while my other game renders' tidbit certainly adds to the curiosity on how this game will turn out.

That's the kind of stuff I was referring to. Laws on pornography, especially if involving minors, have broad and general definitions usually because the legislator can't afford to spend time and effort to define every possible stuff porn-makers might concoct. A casistic approach would mean that the law would lag behind the porn industry and too narrow definitions would mean loopholes through which exploitation of minors could continue.

As been said by Boomatica, the Patreon team for this kind of stuff has been preliminaryly asked about it and has given the green light, but suggested the character to be censored in images to avoid people reporting it nonetheless.
Regarding the incest subject instead I believe it could be due to he fact that the game asks you what those two characters are to you and it's the user who can input Mother and Sister. Though the game already suggests the first letter.

Yep, but breast size is not indicative of age, so small breasts doesn't mean anything per se. In this case the character's head relative to her legs and arm length is totally not underage, her head is not relatively big. She has a petite body, but she isn't a loli by a long shot.
And I like her face more than in RiC.

Ah cwap. Forgot for a while that the reason RIC got shelved was an age issue rather than an incest one. Especially as they fall under different laws. So first, I understand your point and actually agree with it. Though they could stand for a bit of an updating (I recall Lewdgamer having an article on the legality of fictional Lolis in games/manga and looked at cases of actual prosecution in the US), the laws on the depiction of minors is defined enough, albeit in generalist legal terms.

The point I was bringing up (quite badly) was on the other side of the coin, where things are murkier.

The laws where incest & the rest of the 'fringe' (ie: what some would call fun) stuff falls under is a different situation, as I wasn't commenting on the definition of Obscene Materials being too vague. I was commenting on how there isn't an actual definition set up, so to say it's broad is more than an understatement. When the 'definition' is a mini-questionaire with terms like "Average Person" and "Community Standard" it really is pretty arbitrary depending on the age and sex looking at it, to paraphrase ReJoe in a way. Still, pardon me for any confusion I caused.

Take off the makeup and you could label her 12-16 years old. I'll be frank, american girls on average are bigger and look older compared to filipino. I know multiple girls 18-years old who would look like that older version girl in the pic below

It should fall how they're represented. Was there incest on the game? Patreon hates that. Or the dialogues portraying the character as a kid? From my point of view, this older model could be anywhere between 15-30 years old. Who I'm to judge how people look like.

Oh, I don't know enough US legislation, so your reference to the Miller Test actually taught me something!
I can tell you though that it's not something peculiar, it happens all the time in law, some things are just very hard to define and sometimes the legislator just can't be bothered to come up with good definitions, so it leaves concrete application to the interpreters and thus it's jurisprudence the one giving shape and form to the precept. This for common law systems is most coherent, but it happens in civil law systems too, like mine (which grinds my gear at times because some laws are just consciously LAZILY written to speed up their adoption).
Referring to the average person is a leitmotiv in law for a lot of stuff, from deceival in contracts to crimes committed by omission, so it doesn't surprise me they reached that conclusion.

Anyway, it's probably better that I stop flooding the thread with legal considerations xD

So, talking about the game, I really like the base Boomatica has come out with. The menuing seems improved in some areas, though I'm not sure if I like the new menu thing where you choose from two options at the sides of the screen, since it requires more mouse movement than usual.
I appreciated in particular the quality of life improvement of having patreon work limited to the hours your family isn't home. It helps not messing up because you forget the schedule, lol.
And btw I love the mom model so much, it's good to see her back.

Nope, they don't. As you exemplified, they make assumption of age, not age itself.
And I say this knowing full well how my elder sister has been frequently asked for years for her age when buying cigarettes and going to Clubs. The fact that she looked younger and people thought she was underage didn't make her such. It was just their wrong assumption.
Meanwhile no one ever questioned me only because I had a beard. Again, assumptions. Not age itself.

Am i the only one who sees this as a favor from Patreon to us? The game was turning to shit anyways, no story whatsoever just plain fucking, and the scenes were getting sillier and sillier. If Patreon didn't pull the plug on this, by now we would probably had Scat or some other freaky shit which is a big no-no for the most of us.

Well, i absolutely 100% disagree with you .

Personally even now i find RiC still 1 of the better games on this site, and it is such a waste that Patreon started that crap..
I wouldn't mind some freaky things in the game but i can understand that i am in the minority in that .

The only Positive twist that i can give in this story is that Boom is now much more familiair with RPGM and other programs so the mistakes that were made in the beginning of RiC should not happen now and development should be a bit quicker because he now knows what he is doing.

I am looking forward to the development of this game... Only drawback is that this is only a 0.01 so we are talking months to a year untill there is a decent amount of content
