Yeah this was the first time ever this game is now screwed for me. Can not get it to play any more it crashes from start. did patch and crashed from lvl 9 still. Then Renpy folder dump, redownload fresh add patch to new lvl 1 game can not get to start.And here is the fix for that.

Again Fresh Download game, dump renpy folder and even on LVL1 no Sat5pm M date. -> Sis Sun5pm Date works

I'm sorry, but I have to ask.
Did you apply the patch correctly?
The patch archive needs to be placed in the main folder were the SweetAffection.exe is located.
Unzip everything in there and overwrite all files when asked.
If there is no prompt to overwrite anything, it's in the wrong place.

There was no prompt to overwrite, so I did install in the wrong place which is my mistake and problem. I always drag and drop from unzip game folder to main in the game folder and it overwrites prompt none this time. looks like I'll DL and try again. If I come back it did not work. If worked you Helped like a Champ does

Nothing as romantic as stopping during an intimate/romantic moment to lube up.
Obviously I took a creative liberty here and there during the game to focus more on the romance/love, to focus
more on the moments themselves.
After all, pleasing someone with your mouth is a bit more intimate/romantic than grabbing a tube.
(but that is just my personal opinion and I expect not everyone agreeing with that.
)

The 0.10.0 content is there.
We just forgot to update the version number in the main menu.
Keep getting this error each time I try to start the first date event with the mom. Does anyone know a fix?

The gameplay is actually pretty good. The only peeve I have would be needing to repeat certain hours over multiple days just to see all possible outcomes and read the diary sections for them (which are a really good idea by the way).
Bit of a shame it's not HS2, but it's fine.
Writing though...
1) I wouldn't mind it being wordy at all, but most of it is constant repeating of same formula.
- girl is insecure
- MC states he likes her/spending time with her
- they back and forth for a bit because she doesn't believe how he is such a nice guy
- she gets happy
This can repeat many times over the span of same conversation. It gets really stale after a while.
2) MC is nauseatingly nice. I get it, you don't want to write an asshole, that's 100% fine, personally don't care for those either. But MC honestly comes off as creepy and desperate to prove how nice of a guy he is in every other sentence. It really gets annoying. It's not entirely unrealistic, as there are people like that, but they are hardly MC worthy material. There is such a thing as being too nice. It's boring at best, but usually comes off as creepy.
3) Overuse of whiteknighting. While MC is a good guy and thus should protect those he likes, there are times when he comes off as pushy and essentially strips girls of agency. Reassuring girls that they can take care of themselves and instantly going into clingy "but I will protect you anyway" mode in the same sentence does not work. Girls do not seem to mind at all, which brings me to next point.
4) Girls are cardboard cutouts that are there to be amazed at how much of a nice guy MC is and how lucky they are to have him. Mother and sister are 100% just that, they have nothing else going on. Donna and Rose sort of do, but are still completely trusting a random guy who walked into their house unannounced. Yes, he chased the bad guy away. This, much like every single thing MC does is presented like some unimaginable feat of chivalry. It isn't. It's pretentious to pretend so.
Overall, MC is an unlikeable, desperate "nice guy" who in reality would get permanent friendzone by simply existing, but by virtue of being MC gets all the cardboard cutout girls to love him because he is so nice. Apparently every single other male in that world is an irredeemable asshole. The ones we see certainly are, as a contrast to noble MC. They have to be, because having a realistically written male would really challenge MC's character.
And before any claims that I'm just here to take a dump on the game, there are absolutely redeeming qualities. The slow burn is good, although it could be made more exciting if dialogue wasn't so repetetive. Having same scenes and diary entries change over time as relationships grow is great. There's clearly a lot of effort put into this game.
It's far too late into development to make any sensible changes of course, but here's hoping the dev brushes his writing up for the next game. Given more realistic writing, same amount of effort and hopefully a switch to HS2, another game would certainly have great potential.
