There are two DL options.

I recommend going with the LQ option to start - about 10 GB.

Try the AVN and see if you like it.

If you do, just DL the monthly patch to keep it updated (it is very easy to do and if you have ?s, just ask here and someone will help).

The HQ (high quality) option (~37 GB now) will give you slightly better render resolution with the right equipment, but you lose very little trying out SA using the LQ option.

This AVN is like a universe in that:

There is the main story - MC living with two women
There are a number of other women (think side girls)

The side girl relationships are almost all separate from the main story relationships (there is one who is not, but it is a spoiler to say who and why for someone new to SA).

You play the main story at your pace and can pick and choose which side girls to pursue.

There is a Huge amount of content if you find you like the art style, dialogue and story.

I hate the main character so much. I can’t empathize with him at all. He has no real presence or confidence, nothing that makes him stand out. It feels like everything just happens to him by chance, not because he earns it or does anything impressive. He’s just some randomly lucky guy who stumbles through the story. It’s not only about him needing to be dominant. There’s a difference between being non-dominant and being completely bland. For a story-based game, it's just too similar to doormat for my taste.

PS: Yes i prefer dominant charakters

I'd actually recommend downloading the mod, because it makes the videos very smooth.

That is a comment often seen on this thread.

If you have any genuine interest in the AVN versus just commenting on the size of the HQ download, I recommend checking out the LQ download, roughly 10 GB, and trying the AVN out.

(The HQ dl is there for those with the higher end gear to enjoy the imagery differences that increased fidelity will allow - a nice feature not all dev's offer.)

If you enjoy it, you have found a gem with a Lot of playing time.

If not, then best of luck finding something that appeals to your tastes!

Sweet Affection [v0.11.9] High FrameRate mode​

This mod replaces the game’s native low FPS animations with 60 FPS animations.

Total animations/video rendered = 625 639 690 animations (14+ hours of total animation)

Note - There is whooping 14 hours of animations in this game. Took me 2 months of around non-stop rendering to get this done. I worked my ass off to create this and boy this is expensive. Hope you guys will like it.

I keep seeing people talking about the file size, but that shouldn't even be an issue. It's 2025, not 2010.

Now, the AMOUNT of files is insane. 108k? It took longer to unzip than it took to download.

I'm guessing the reason that the Dev isn't using the RPA packaged files is because it makes it easier to update this way, but holy shit.The Dev really should make the RPA version available.
