This is a side project. The dev usually works as an artist for a team that has released something like 4 completed games since Part 1 was first released. So yeah, the last chapter is not coming soon but there's a good reason for it.

originally this got abandoned after ep1 cause orig. dev bite bit too much and recemtly this got back by remaking of 1st ep and then ep2 some time later. final ep (3) comes out next year.
star wars avn are rare thing, many have tried but few have suucceeded.

Ep3 won't come out next year, that's for sure. They are already working on a different game, and there's at least another one totally written (just waiting for Mortze to create the art), as well as plans for yet another one. So Ep3 will have to wait quite a bit.

This wasn't ABANDONED after ep. 1 as Mortze continued their collab with Tlaero on several other games (there had been a hiatus, so mortze went ahead with this - his solo project). It was made quite clear at the time of ep. 1 being finished that the next one - if it were to appear EVER - would be a loooong time in the making.
Same for ep. 3 - no one (not Mortze himself as the sole dev for SWM nor Tlaero as his "non-involved" partner-in-crime) has indicated or promised a quick follow-on.
As for the supposed "rework" that was minor edits (e.g. name change to SWM, minor stuff like that).

You're not wrong. Correcting grammar and typos is one thing. The use of "suggested prose" appears to be very heavy in the back half of that update.
I think most people could understand you being a non-native English speaker. I don't think anyone is expecting something they're downloading from this website to be The Grapes of Wrath. But we can do better than AI word diarrhoea, surely?
