What surprised me more was it was called through a microphone and in each room it can be heard, so far the most hotels i been at never had such system and some were also 5 star hotels, if something bad happened they usualy came door to door to warn us, but I only had that happen once with a fire, but all other hotels i been pretty much safe, not even had been quarantined.
