Their solution was updating Winrar.
I downloaded 7zip and I have the same problem so I'm guessing it's a problem with the folders of the game, heck
Edit: It seems it isn't... Or it is, I'm confused and I might as well have a trojan on my PC since I disabled the antivirus and now it worked

So I have another question... The save that comes with this update is right after the end of the previous one? (The save starts with Asuna arriving at Kirito's house and seeing Inoda and then both enter Kirito apartment)

Someone else had the same problem. Their solution was updating Winrar.

He is just covering his ass if he can't get it out by the end of this month. It shouldn't be every month.
I would like to believe this, otherwise it will be sad to receive short updates and wait longer than usual

Yes, this save is made by Fujino himself

By the way Fujino wrote: "I have spent some time drawing some new maps and correcting bugs. It will probably be completed around the end of the month. However, due to the late update last time, there is relatively little time this month. It is not ruled out that it will take a few more days." Does this mean that the update will come out later, and maybe it will be like this every time now?
By the looks of it the development from now on will be more and more complicated, Fujino is already pushing what can be done with RPGM.
Tbh so far he always did the same thing, first few days after the update he spend correcting bugs, then he had the rest of the month to work on the next update, but since version 0.55 he kinda lost the pace, because that update was bigger than usual and broke the game and he spent too much time trying to correct but the problem now is with the limits of the engine.
Thats is very clear with this last update, since its was on the small side and yet took almost a entire week to bug fix.
I hope he's doing 2 small updates in a row in order to buy time to fix older bugs and find a more permanent solution otherwise the game will be impossible to play from the beggining to the end and the updates will be smaller and with bigger time gaps between them.

It seems like someone wrote here that the problem is not in the engine, but in the fact that he is using it incorrectly

Everyone is so looking forward to the battle scenes, but it is not a fact that they will be. Perhaps in the first stages of testing there will be no battles at all. I think the next report will show what awaits us

I finally finished the game. I have to say, my favorite parts so far have been the ones involving combat in FGO. Also getting to see the updates to Asuna's status is always fun.

Don't usually play this kind of rpgm game (have played 2 all my life) but I am glad i found this one. The plot with Asuna does kinda feel all over the place a bit with her having sex IRL then not wanting it etc.. And i feel like she goes back on things often but Ig she is in a relationship so it probably makes sense.

Always good to see Asuna doing ntr stuff tho, she was made for it.

What i am pretty curious about though, is how did asuna see Kirito cheating when she went to the brothel with Inoda? I thought he was in the data space place getting his brain scanned? I think Sugu has some times to the 6 beasts, was it set up without his knowing? Was it just a clone?

It's also kinda hillarious how much she freaks out when she was LITERRALY just giving Inoda some sex seconds earlier lol

It wasn't Kirito, it was just Suguha's illusion

You can watch the scene from Suguha's POV in the rec room. It wasn't Kirito, but one of the council members who used an item in an unintended way. I don’t want to spoil everything here, it's best to watch the scene.

Like 4-kun already said, the rest of the context is in the rec.room, I'm gonna assume you haven't been periodically checking it?? You should, because unlike in Part 1, the Recollection Room being accessible every night after a bit is actually integral part of the narrative believe it or not XD You can go to the small building on the left every night to have a talk with Administrator that offers hints/context of the main plot and subplots and even things that may yet happen, and there are quite a few events that are exclusively in the rec. room that go beyond just PoV changes (Suguha especially has a lot of those, is not just her H-scenes but the full development of her plot's deepest bits has been exclusively shown in the rec. room, especially in the last update).
