Sorry, do we have any IRL events confirmed for this update?
Probably not for a few more months? At the rate the current progress reports are going, it seems like IRL progression will either start near the end of the update, or be a February/March update. But don't take my word for it as things can happen. Also I don't know what's considered IRL events that's considered satisfactory. I'd assume the satisfactory IRL content is probably going to be March/April, but I'm just guessing here.

I also find the lack of news about IRL events intriguing, almost concerning even, considering the whole stuck in a hotel room situation

For now there is only one confirmed IRL event and it is for Suguha.
Sugu for the win!

Jokes aside, yeah, this update being pretty much mono-focused on FOG shouldn't be a surprise for anyone, it was literally hyped since last time to be about the whole 'ritual' to try and bring Yui into the world and for the battle scenes, so that was obviously gonna be the main focus of it.

That said, this last progress report said Fujino got started on Monday's/next week's events so those who want more IRL developments may get something still, especially as there is still 3 weeks before the update.

Yea, unfortunately it is hard to tell when a character other than Suguha has an event, will it be IRL or in FOG. Suguha, Administrator bless her, calls herself by a different name in FOG so it is always clear.

Thanks, now I’m imagining how the admin would just drop all the useless males in the game and make Suguha her chosen instead

True, but the ritual has been hyped since before the last update. The 'locked in the hotel together' situation wasn't hyped or hinted at all; it's a big change that should end up having far reaching consequences, and it happened suddenly and completely out of the blue. I can only assume it's going to be an important part of the ritual, or why would Fujino shoehorn it in so fast? He could have put that time and effort into the actual ritual otherwise. 0.65 was supposed to be about the ritual/set it up more.

Also I thought the Sugu scene was a joke?

While I do find it odd, I kind of don't care in favor of battle scenes. But there's probably going to be some IRL progression soon?

If I were you, I wouldn't expect relevance for this character. What they still don't understand is the fact that taking away her arc with the delinquent not only eliminated the character's sexual scenes but also her relevance in the story (if she really had any, in fact it was more of the scenes, but it was already much better content than Liz). After all, even though there are Suguha fans here and there wanting "vanilla" content, the majority of supporters are in the game to see Asuna and Inoda and that won't change regardless of how much they cry for Suguha.
It makes sense if Fujino wants Suguha to fall on another dick again in pursuit of her brother's dick. But for now that path is closed, although who knows when it will start to appear...

By the way, don't forget that Fujino has said several times that he plans to make Sunday variable for the story. Perhaps, depending on our choice or the results of the mini-game, there will be certain scenes.

Since supporters started complaining about Fujino not focusing on Asuna, he has changed, and now he is back to focusing on advancing the story of Asuna and her corruption, which is the biggest problem and setback of part 2. Knowing that Suguha is secondary and since Fujino took away her NTR arc, it's already clear that not even Fujino himself knows what to do with this character anymore, I don't know where you got the idea of vanilla content for Suguha in a game like this, but highlighting the points I mentioned, the vast majority of supporters don't care about this, only about the evolution of Asuna's corruption, and it's good that it's like that, after all, the story here is about her.

Fujino does most of the game the way he wants. In the last updates there was less Asuna because they were intermediate and he himself said so at the end of them. So it's hard to say how much his Chinese fans influenced here, considering that I'm not sure how much he even reads their comments. He mostly answers on Patreon and even congratulated only on Patreon. Although I saw him answer a couple of times and not only on Patreon. And speaking about the fact that fans only care about Asuna's story, this is only a plus because Fujino himself chooses how to lead other characters in the plot.
I fully admit that he will want to lead Suguha again in the NTR plot. My message above directly says this;). Yes, I myself have already written about this more than once. But I am starting from what is now and so far I do not see with whom this storyline could be

We already had irl asuna event last update, I do expect there to be more this update too. If not then that would be very disappointing. The reason the whole hotel quarantine plot is happening is so that we get tons of irl events and we finally get back to the end of part 1. It would be a huge waste of time if barely anything happens irl.
