Perhaps Fujino can't think of a more realistic way to make Asuna's transition to sex in real life. After all, Asuna still has clear boundaries of "game - real life". Actually, this development was not meant to prevent FGO sex, instead what it will most likely bring as a possibility is VR Anal sex.
It's on the list of perks, we don’t really have unlimited updates for it to come much later, and the prohibition of sex in FGO was explicitly about using the "birth canal".
So yeah, we probably have anal sex in the menu for the next update (or maybe the next one?), but Kirito having a sex life (with his girlfriend) is over. If only he had a convenient cousin slash sister that would be happy receiving all of his mentally handicapped (for the sake of ntr) baby-batter.

Anyways, besides a few complaints, I did think the update was solid enough. If people went through the entire collection of battle events they probably spent 30minutes just seeing those cgs.
There were clear signs of Fujino rushing things, as even something as simple as Kirito having sex with Asuna wasn't on the recollection room. What I think happened is that Fujino probably panicked a little last Monday, thinking that he would have to spend a lot of time fixing bugs so he pulled the plug on the update too soon. After all the original release date was 2-3 days from now, so he probably miscalculated how much time he would have to spend bug fixing.

The Anal sex seems like a potential idea, but I just assumed the more basic premise of being not allowed so Inoda starts pestering Asuna IRL. Anal can make sense, but I would just assume in general the whole idea of the hotel thing is to just trap Asuna with Inoda and increase her sexual frustrations to a breaking point so she caves in. So that whole notion in FOG, just made me assume this.

And yes the battle update part was great and why I'm the most happy. I probably spent about an hour in there rofl. In regards to the release date/time from Fujino, I don't know if Fujino would have released on 1/27. They might be releasing it now so they can have more time to work during February, due to how short that month is. Or maybe they just wanted to release a little earlier than Lunar New Year.
Overall, it was a good update, but there are still many details that haven’t been explained, like the new IRL outfit Asuna changed and the sex scene in that little room. Hopefully, Fujino will include Asuna’s POV in the next update. But guys, this time we only have to wait a month!
