so you missed the part where he spent two years in sao fighting solo, barely surviving boss fights, losing friends and pushing himself past his limits? he wasn’t just given anything, his skills came from experience, trauma and actually putting in the work. if you think he just magically got strong you weren’t paying attention

After that, he just kinda show up to the scene stronger. The only friends we see he has that die, die because they both off more than they could chew, not because he was too weak to protect them. He's about to lose to the boss, except he's been granted a unique skill, something we've never seen anyone else have and have no idea how or why he got it, and then completely overwhelms it.
nah, you’re oversimplifying it. kirito didn’t just show up stronger, he spent two years in sao fighting nonstop, clearing floors, and risking his life solo. moonlit black cats died because he hesitated to tell them the truth, and that guilt shaped him. dual wielding wasn’t just granted to him, it was an automatic system recognition of the fastest reaction speed (meaning he earned it through pure skill). if he really just got stronger out of nowhere, he wouldn’t have struggled in fights like gleam eyes, heathcliff, or quinella
Where does it show us that hard work? Where are all the other people who have unique skills the system granted to them from their achievements in the game? Just as easily as you say he struggled to make gains, I can say he gained exp by playing canasta and we'd have the exact same amount of proof of it happening.

"where does it show his hard work?" episode 1 (00:01:50 - 00:03:30) shows him grinding in the beta, episode 2 (00:08:15 - 00:09:30) explains how tough soloing is, episode 9 (00:14:50 - 00:16:10) has him testing dual wielding, episode 10 (00:06:30 - 00:08:00) shows him training with asuna, and he’s always on the frontlines
"where are the other unique skill users?" unique skills were system awarded based on performance, not random. kirito got dual wielding because he had the highest reaction speed. the only other confirmed unique skill user was heathcliff, the game’s creator
"no proof he earned his strength?" he nearly died soloing gleam eyes, lost to heathcliff in a duel, collapsed after fighting skull reaper, and in alicization, he trained under eldrie and sortiliena. he didn’t just get strong, he worked for it

I think it's just going to be the events of the hotel sex scene, which I can see being a lot of work for one long scene with multiple angles. And whatever might happen even for the rest of the night.
I hope it's the stormy night pov we should have gotten, only hotter because Asuna is totally into it this time around.

Testing dual wielding, means he's already got it. The system literally doesn't acknowledge anyone besides him and the Creator of the game, who probably just made himself have the skill? Even when he joins new games, he's better than majority of the player base just because.

There are certainly people who hate Cuckito a lot for that reason, but he also has a point if you've read the novel well, he was trapped like everyone else. If you analyze it, you realize that Cuckito hides that fact since it's most likely that out of desperation everyone comes to him for help because he's a beta tester. Now imagine if you fail everyone in a game where if you die, you die.
What bothers me the most about Cuckito is that in every season there is one girl over fatuated with him for seemingly no reason other that he is the super swordsman he is (in a videogame) and yes I know the first season I understand that because of the high stakes but every other season after that I don't get. And to top it all every girl comments about him what a good guy he is and how perfekt he is when they are sitting together even when he didn't do anything at all. I really didn't like those moments in the anime. And that is the reason I like this game because he is finaly at a loosing end here.
And sorry guys for my rant but this had to get out. Thank you for reading and sry for my poor english

to all the kirito haters and pignoda fanboys here, cry harder. in canon, he's the harem king, has a beautiful and loyal gf, solo cleared sao, saved entire worlds, and still stays winning. if that helps you cope, keep worshipping your npc parody king pignoda while the chad kirito is busy with his canon harem
