Especially the slow escalations during the battles are really well-made.
I found myself spamming the weak standard attack (which is useless because of the enemies' heal) or asking Asuna for "help" every battle, just to make sure I got to see every variant of those

It's just the kinda convoluted main story, lengthy "slice of life" segments and relatively high percentage of liz/sinon content (which isn't even really NTR since they're not really LIs of Kirito) that makes part 2 drag on longer than it should have.
I still enjoy it enough to follow the game, but I kind of hope Fujino won't drag out the finale too much.
Yea I think its really hard to do break someone again after the first time and then play it like a restart button which the advantage used was oh we are doing things in game now and try to break her again this way. I think instead of having part 2 I think a lot of it could have been merged with the part 1 and start with the game sexual stuff first then have the quarantine then maybe the rainy night be a final breaking point (rewritten ofc) over all I enjoy it all though. Agree the rainy night has to play one handedSame.

If someone says they like P1, let them play P1. I don't understand why they have to compare P2 with P1 and then complain about those negative things. To me, if P2 still maintains the same speed as P1, then this P2 will probably have to take many more years to complete the massive content of P2. At that point, someone will complain: "Fujino scammed money from followers, etc..." It's hard to please everyone.

it’d be netori then, and there wouldn’t be any hidden or oblivious ntr scenes anymore. and personally, i wouldn’t like it that way. it’s always better when the mechanics of the ntr games are from the protagonist’s pov

I mean, Suguha also isn't, hell in Part 1 she was even less so than either of them, yet she has been around the game from the beginning (Ironically her story became more 'actual NTR' in Part 2 lol), the thing with "SAO NTR" is that trying to use any of the non-Asuna girls for NTR purposes feels oddly stupid if you give it even a little bit of thought, because unlike 99% of the usual 'harem' series, not only is Kirito not romantically attracted to them but all of them also accept and support KiriSuna's relationship rather than having any silly tropey fights over him

It's funny that we see this unique hairstyle with a braid and realize that it's Asuna. This hairstyle is so associated with Asuna. You can take any anime girl, put an Asuna wig on her and she becomes Asuna.

That braid crown with mini-ponytail really become "Asuna's hairstyle" now. Now anytime I see even the mini-ponytail without the braid crown I still think it is Asuna-inspired.True — regardless of body proportions, you just know it’s her.
Good job on the light novel illustrator for making her so unique looking. Look at what she looks like in early web novel picture.
She looks so generic! No way should would be as iconic today with that look!

Most characters look the same. Kirito looks as generic as always but at least the LN gave him a unique outfit!
But Sinon is almost unrecognizable from her early designs.
She kind of looks like a character from the manga version of Gunslinger Girl.
I don't have much hope that this update will be great. Fujino himself said that the content that will be released does not reflect the content of a 2 month update. Then not only 2 months of waiting, but the update itself will be divided into 2 parts, one released now in May, the other part that will perhaps also be the most important in JuneHope so, Fujino said he'd release this new update mid-May which now is almost 2/3 of May
