People are complaining about the Mindbreak/Brainwash and i agree it's a easy way out for Fujino about Asuna plot being stuck, he simply don't have more time for a Slow burn corruption this ship already sailed.
I dont se as mindbreak per se, it's more like suggestions and Asuna revealing her true nature and feelings, remember guys she is a slut confessed hypocrite.
But now Fujino has a problem he stretched the game so much that he sttill have 5 or 6 months to cover and 3 or more updates to do, and he said one the main complains about the plot nowadays and he agrees it's the lack in NTR because Asuna plot is already so far gone that it's lost almost all the meaning of NTR.
He declared himself as a “fundamentalist NTR enthusiast" so he came up with a solution, it's not by mistake he started to give us the options about the other girls, since he can't use Asuna anymore in a effective way for NTR why not use the other girls all of them to cover for that. In one hand he gave the players the hope to "flee" from the fate just to take it away in the worst way possible, NTR is back on the menu boys.
And given the reactions here i think the idea worked like a charm, i don't think he will use brainwash again, but all the others tropes are fair game, intimidation, blackmail, rape, drugs and rape and mindbreak in the end.

It’s not 3 updates left. He already broke the 0.05 pattern last month, so he could stretch it to 15 updates if he wanted to.

I don't understand the complaining. The cat and mouse relationship between Inoda and Asuna has been dragging way too long, and Asuna was bound to fall sooner or later. From my point of view, the quarantine consist of Fujino writing an extended version of Rainy Day from part one. What I enjoy the most, is that not only is Kirito getting NTR, but so are his memories with Asuna, that's another level of NTR. As per the harem ending, while I understand that many of you like the other girls more than Asuna, she is still the main protagonist. The other girls were meant to serve as a replacement for no-named NPCs. Expecting more out of them and complaining about it is unfair to Fujino, especially after you drove out Hebeshima.
I do agree that the update was short, but from Fujino's ending text about soft rebooting #2 and pushing the update another month, he probably scrapped a whole update, that's just part of development.

So true. Fujino even said he does not care about doing .05 version increments anymore. But he did say he wanted to finish the game by end of year/ beginning of next year so he does not have much time left either way especially if he is still doing everything from the Perks List.It’s not 3 updates left. He said himself the way he sees NTR this story could be finished by the last update, but fans asked for more hardcore Asuna/Inoda debauchery and so he keep going.
So he can say this game can go on forever, but we know he will finish in 3 updates maybe 4 as epilogue, he want to start a new game and he assumed he can't do both at same time.
I just hope we get more stuff from the other girls, Especially Sugu like dude we need more of that stuff.

I think everyone who watched the anime understood what Inoda is going to do.
Maybe Yui will have a tsundere personality, like Liz. And there will be a scene like: Inoda is masturbating alone in the FOG because Asuna refused sex (for whatever reason). Yui enters the room, "Oh, Daddy, what are you doing with such a big thing? It seems, while Mommy's away, I should help you with that.
"Regarding the map, I also thought Fujino had abandoned it, but he just put it aside for a long time.
