It’s not even about people hating NTR. It’s just wild that the only Sword Art Online hentai game out there forces you to play as Kirito getting cucked. No choices, no netori, no harem, just pain. Honestly, I went into this not knowing it was unavoidable NTR, and it pissed me off. Playing as Kirito and watching everything go downhill with no way to stop it? That sh*t hit too close, like, I was Kirito, so it felt personal.

I get that some people say the way to “enjoy” it is to pretend you’re Inoda, but for me… that’s hard to do when the game literally forces you to move Kirito around while he’s getting emotionally destroyed.

So yeah, unless you’ve got the mental gymnastic skills to disassociate and self-insert as the villain, it’s just pain on pain. Not saying it’s a bad game, it’s well-made, but damn… this one hurts if you go in blind like I did.
