I'm playing all the stacked updates I left behind, and man does the memory arc sting. It is almost physically painful, I need an ending to unleash all the pent up anger or I may throw my PC out of the balcony.
Plot observation: I get that there's an higher being interference and the like, but sometimes it's like Kirito's brain shortcircuits. He is supposed to be a super math/informatics genius, but whenever things involve the word Asuna he reverts to a caveman. Example: Yui has a problem in Kirito's perception, particularly his position in the "family" -> Yui has been with Asuna and observed her interactions during pregnancy -> In some dialogue during the debug, he clearly states the bug stems from Yui's observations in FOG ( all made from asuna's POV) -> something is amiss in their relationship form Asuna's side. At a certain point, when the bluehaired slut arrives, (not waiting for him to log in after making him drop out of work, I would have murdered her just for that) shifts the problem from her perception of Kirito to Kirito himself during some of the dialogue's lines when he's explaining the problem, and he says nothing. I do understand he has the same charisma of a rock in this game, but we're talking about his supposed daughter, and he is way too passive on that, makes me want to kick him in the mouth.
The build up to the memory arc (all the quarantine arc is really good in my opinion) was actually one of the best NTR plot I've seen recently, with the Kirichad awakening foreshadowing some change in dynamics. I wouldn't have minded more inner conflict in Kirito during the memory arc, like questioning all the shit asuna's up too, at least in his dead brain. There was not even a shot of anxiety even when she was literally fucking all over the house, and the blissfull dialogues revert him to the start of the game.
So, long story short, I want to pluck my eyes out, but I also want to see the endings, and hopefully there will be a satisfying one. Now I'll continue to play.
