I really hope the church scene is just the short one. I don't know what it is but I kind of want the longer scene to be in a more exciting area rather than doing it in the church. Also doing a clothed titjob is really weird to me? Unless the clothes are made of satin I can't imagine enjoying such a thing?

I am sure there will be no chance for battle scene. Those scenes need a lot of CGs and the big finisher for this update seems to be the church confession sex scene. I do think during Kirito's POV we will see some popups of Asuna's actions like this one.
The church scene being short seems unlikely. The update seems to be small overall. If it does finish on Wednesday then not finishing with a long Church scene would be weird. Also the clothed titjob is probably just a opener. Starting a quick massage through the light fabric before moving on to the actual flesh.
Also, to further clarify, Fujino has always specifically stated when we get battle-related events/updates, and he didn't at all this month, so there is that :O
This is the one I was talking about, it's very likely that this is it, since Kirito could be doing something, talking to Liz or doing missions like that. But I think we won't just have this church scene, maybe a surprise, real life, maybe?

That's a great idea. And maybe Kirito is telling the truth about what he was doing in the brothel. And Asuna doesn't know at this moment whether to believe or not, and if she believe, it turns out that she cheating again for no reason. And if her doesn't believe it, then her love for Kirito may decrease even more. Something like "Lying to me right in confession. How can you?"
I doubt that's it, for Asuna to gradually lose her love for Kirito, it would be to catch him red-handed, or even Inoda showing photos/videos.

We can see from the preview that it is in the back of the confession booth. I think that what is likely is that for whatever reason Inoda convinces Asuna to give him a titjob and then Kirito walks in to check up on Asuna. While there in front of booth she asks him if he has anything to confess and he says he doesn't. That tips Asuna over the edge and she does more stuff with Inoda in response.

But yeah 8 could mean battle update. But honestly considering the last battle update was 15 CGs, I have no clue if this is a battle update or not. I'd probably wager that it's something in the FOG church so not battle update.
I think a link to this compilation was shared some time ago, but I'm not 100% sure.Does anyone have a compilation of the animations that appear in the asuna menu?
Since every battle update is Asuna at a different point in her "corrupted development" the old CGs from previous battle events are more than likely not going to be re-used. But anyways the 15 CG set was all for one day and that was for the battle day. So I'm just comparing numbers wise, that I don't think 8 CGs means we're getting anything. However it's possible that the 8 CGs could be an additional set of CGs for the previous 15. But the trend so far implies otherwise, so I don't know. The other hint is that most times Fujino will mention that the next update is a battle update.
I don't remember the treehouse update being hinted as a battle update though? So who knows really. I'm just not going to hope for a battle event and be pleasantly surprised if it turns out to be one.

Sometimes, I truly don´t get Fujino´s way of thinking at all.
We spent the entire last month, and most of this one, with practically no previews at all making it so we assume that he isn't giving us any of them because it would be too much of an spoiler, but then just gives away a scene like he did in this report.
It truly makes me wonder how does his brain-box work.

Anyway, taking into consideration the update will be released, most likely, by this weekend that means that I may or may not be able to play it.
For you see, if the Dodgers don't win the World Series and Ohtani doesn't get a ring, I'm fucking killing myself.
Which at the same time, is making me wonder how Fujino is interacting with the world series there in Japan. Most people here might dismiss what I am saying because you find Baseball lame, which is fair since it's the nerdiest sport ever, but it's quite the big deal in Japan.
Since Sohei Ohtani is playing the World Series, while being Japan's biggest celebrity right now, even the release date of One Piece got pushed back.
So it does make me wonder if Fujino is integrating himself socially in Japan by watching baseball with his coworkers and that type of stuff. Sports events are the quintessential social glue, if you don't count alcohol, after all.

I really hope we get more popup scenes; it was exactly this type of scene that made me love this game from the very beginning back in Part 1. Both the popup scenes and the split-screen ones (like in the boss battle in the forest or the kitchen scene).
I dream of a future where more devs are inspired by this Fujino's specific style of scene narration and where more games with this kind of mechanic emerge.
