I mean, regardless of what people may want, these two endings ARE basically guaranteed, one is basically the standard Fujino Game Ending and the other is one he has build up way too much to drop it at this point. At best we may hope with everything that has changed that Fujino adds another ending too, but that may be too much and the more realistic thing is that he has made the endings more 'nuanced' so that they have more things going in the background than just Kirito not knowing or Kirito being a happy cuck (The Suguha/Sinon plot, especially the former, has evolved waaaaay beyond what it originally was meant to be when these endings were first announced so unless Fujino completely backpedals on it then it stands to reason they may affect whichever ending they're more relevant at, I would imagine).

I mean, while I would love to see that kinda ending as a Kirito fan, I'm also realistic...this is NOT that kind of game, one should have accepted from the beginning such a thing is just NOT gonna happen, no ending in this game is gonna be 'good' for Kirito in the normal way at all, like, ever XD Best we can hope for is that maybe Sugu keeps corrupting him into initiating a relationship with her and he's constantly 'suffering' from it in the "doesn't know anything" ending but still legit has a girl who genuinely loves him with NTR-verse-induced-defects and everything, or a new ending where she 'wins' more properly, but expecting any of these endings to not still technically screws Kirito over one way or another is just not realistic for this game honestly :O

Not much, but there are NTR games out there which MC gets revenge or punishes FMC, but yeah, you generally do not see that kind of ending. But Kirito is different from most NTR MC, he is clever, crafty, skillful, handsome, hard worker etc etc... Also in this game (unlike Asuna) we have female characters who don't fall to monster cock, like Sinon and Suguha, so expecting revenge or punishment ending is kinda realistic, but the fact that creator already told how he will craft endings, there is nothing much to do I guess.

I know this is a very common cheating/NTR trope, but I'm still going to complain about it. How much of an absolute moron does your MC have to be to not know what's happening here. I haven't played any of the author's other games, could you tell me what their endings are?I just don't see any reason for Asuna to leave Kirito.

Asuna won't leave Kirito. She wants Kirito as her life partner. But she wants Inoda as well. As her fwb, sex partner. So unless Kirito realizes she cheates on him, she will continue to be two-timer.

I mean, the dev may not even KNOW this site exist, reminder, you can't blame the people complaining about that here for ANYTHING Fujino has done because the great majority was of his OWN making and decision, lmao. If Fujino would listen to anything is to the people in Ci-En or Patreon who are actually paying him, and even then he does not most of the time.

The only things we know that got affected by the will of his fans at all was earlier in Part 2 (The decisions that removed Hebishima from the game and indirectly lead to Suguha's current path) and he only listened at all because of how bad things were for him. No crowd "demanding Kirito gets some" at all swayed Fujino, that was entirely of his own choice and making

As someone who doesn't particularly likes NTR and was in this game because of the decent SAO Hentai content only, and actually likes Kirito, I actually liked the new direction, not so much for Kirito getting any but because of how unique it was to see and how Suguha's route was so unexpectedly and good making her into the most interesting character in the game, and again, this was all of FUJINO's own choice to make, not of anyone whining here for one thing or another XD The 'crowd' you're complaining about barely showed up a couple months back as a direct result of the new way things are going, the voting that eventually ended resulting on the current state of things was done like a year ago AND all it voted on was to remove Hebishima for the story, everything from how Fujino handled Suguha's and Sinon's roles in the game once that plot started happening was entirely of his own decision, almost all the fans who actually pay him don't even care about it, they just wanna see more of Asuna getting fucked by Inoda

It is not a lie. You can assume the game changed based on feedback or his own choice but only Fujino can confirm one way or another.

Is just as King said there dude, and you can ask other people that have been around since Part 1, just because some people say stuff in his comments doesn't mean anything, otherwise as someone mentioned the other day Kirito instead would have already ended in a much worse way than either of his pre-planned endings, the amount of Chinese comments who wanted Kirito to end much worse have existed in way more number and from way longer than any other type but Fujino keeps doing his own thing, the one time he has ever been visibly shown to actually listen to feedback firsthand was during the Hebishima poll and even then it happened just because of the extreme circumstances of the beginning of Part 2 (Him having to move countries and being in a precarious situation, backslash from being not what most people expected with the soft-reset, etc).

Fujino has if anything been shown several times to NOT listen to what the majority of his comments want, hell, back when he first announced his 2 planned endings there actually was a lot of backslash in the comments because most people did NOT want a "happy cuck" ending, because as most modernNTR lovers they wanted Kirito to end up suffering if he found out about the NTR, not enjoying it, yet Fujino ignored it all and we still got the blatant 'corruption bar' for Kirito in Part 2 XD

As Alter mentioned, this information comes from a datamined perk in the game files. We don’t know exactly why Inoda convinces Asuna to stay with Kirito as his fake girlfriend—maybe it’s to feel superior to Kirito, or perhaps he wants to avoid trouble, especially if Asuna’s father were to find out. As we’ve seen, most people already dislike him, so if the public discovered that someone like him was with Asuna, the backlash would likely be even worse.
