Hmm, can't help with that, it never crashes on startup in my case, though crashes during gameplay are pretty common.

One thing to keep in mind: never use old save files, as they don't work. However, when starting a new game, you can choose the date (update) you want to start playing from.

The error is saying that it can't find "%E5%A4.... .PNG" so is your Archive extractor compatible with Jap/Chinese letter?
