NTR is when your beloved girlfriend, fiancée, or wife is stolen from you, either directly or indirectly.

NTR IS NOT:
1. When your mother or sister is taken away from you, they don't belong to you; they're your family, whether by blood or not. And if you liked them, you're an idiot for staying silent.
2. When a classmate or coworker is taken away from you, she doesn't belong to you either. If you liked her, you're still an idiot for not saying anything.
3. When your childhood friend is taken away from you, the fact that you promised each other that you'd get married as children is no guarantee, even if you do nothing, someone else will have sex with her.
I disagree, although I don't like momntr and sisntr it is still NTR. Because Netorare(寝取られ) is derived from multiple japanese words 寝– "to sleep," often used euphemistically to refer to sexual activity. 取る – "to take" or "to steal." られ (rare) – a passive verb ending, indicating that the subject is passively experiencing the action.
So, 寝取られ literally means "to have [someone] slept with or taken from you"
It doesn't matter if its your lover or not as long as there is emotional weight of losing it associated with it. Some subgenre like childhood friends gets to be famous and get their own term like BSS but nevertheless still part of NTR.

Alright, I thought I might have missed things ^^
Also, does the main menu animation changes depending on story progression? Because I remember the animation was of Asuna and Imoda having sex doggystyle around the corner IRL, but now it changed to Asuna blowing himin game near Kirito's campfire
no it doesn't depend, because logically there should be a fire first, then around the corner

In that case, no, if it's your close family, for example, mother or sister, they have their own lives, even though you are part of it, they don't belong to you, and the emotional weight is just an addition.

Well, no, she will just snap and rape him while conscious now, this Sugu clearly won't take a no from Onii-chan at this point XD

The movie's stupid retcon made this scene SO much worse, because after what he pulled off IRL there Kirito should have been able to just drop-kick that dude to death even without a sword...that's why you don' try to retroacively canonize stuff that wasn't in the original source material before more important arcs are over just for the fucking sake of having Kirito actually having visited her house IRL before Alicization XD

Kirito: I can't, I love Asuna
Suguha: and do you think she loves you? look here *shows evidence*
Kirito: Where did you get this video?
Suguha: It doesn't matter where or how I got this video, you just watch, you see this girl with the fat guy, do you recognize her?
Kirito: wow it's amazing how much that guy's cousin looks like Asuna
Suguha: because that's Asuna, Idiot, so, what do you do now, do you want to fuck me to forget? :sneaky:

Kirito visited Asuna's house in the movie Ordinal Scale. The movie Ordinal Scale is canon.
Would you kick a mentally ill man who holds a poisoned syringe? And would you be able to defeat a man who is unpredictable?

Again, I acknowledged it, that was my complaint, making OS canon made this scene stupid :p Also, YES, Johnny Black was a dangerous psycho and a murderer lmao, and Kirito was trying to protect Asuna in this bit, so realistically he would have had 0 compulsion in beating him senseless if he could...which he should given he was able to keep up with Eiji in Ordinal Scale when he was using a magical super suit that let him ricochet off walls faster than the eye could see and made him strong enough to casually break an adult man's arm without effort XD

I love SAO and actually like Kirito a lot, but I'm one of the few that never liked OS and think making it canon was stupid, Kazuto should have been on the ground defeated not even 30 seconds into his fight with Eiji IRL if the movie had had any realism XP (Doesn't help that poor Sugu, the only character that would have been able to have even a small realistic chance to take care of this, was basically written out of the movie's main plot EXCLUSIVELY so she wouldn't outshine Kirito and Asuna, which I found extra stupid after watching the Kirito vs. Eiji fight)

This is pretty much just wrong, and why you shouldn't rely on dictionary definitions of words in order to define an entire genre of porn.

In Japan, NTR is used to describe pretty much any situation where you're supposed to feel jealousy over someone else fucking (and stealing away) someone you love. Romantic interest does NOT need to be reciprocated for it to invoke NTR. There are like, "sub" definitions where you might need them to be in a relationship already, such as NTRS (hard to give away something you don't already have), but NTR is a very large umbrella term for a lot of different scenarios.

Also have you read much momNTR stuff? The point of it typically isn't "someone you could be fucking is getting taken away" it's literally "your loving mother is getting her back blown out so hard she forgets to take care of you anymore". You can have more than just sexual partners stolen from you, and there are more types of love than just carnal or romantic (platonic, filial, etc.) to be exploited, corrupted, and/or broken.
