Inoda knows it was Suguha who drugged Liz when Liz tried to drug Kirito in the hospital because he was in the bathroom when Suguha took Liz to the room and left a note. Inoda would not tell Liz it was Suguha who drugged her and forced Inoda to rape Liz because no way Liz would believe Inoda. Liz does not trust Inoda at all. Let's put aside the canon, what we know of Fujino's plot and how he have used the plot devices he left in the story hes is using then in chronological order, right now he is using the Oberon memory manipulation, which was show to us at the memory labyrinth, after that at hospital arc Asuna's PTSD was the next, the other one still in the hospital was Sugu/Liz trap with Inoda knowledge, after that there's nothing else as plot device because he split the characters and the Ritual/Quarantine/Yui arc were very straight foward.

The way Fujino is setting up the plot is clearly aiming some confrontation between Sinon/Sugu/council and also Sinon/Sugu Inoda/Asuna/Liz since this was the first time Inoda mention both of them with intent what will come of that will be tied in how the player will proced with the "chioces".

Hebishima was sacked by Fujino's decision but the fans also voted for it, that kind make/forced Fujino rethink Sugu/Sinon roles in the story, but as we can tell he didn't like the results and in the end he had no idea in what to do with both of them, so is very likely he will come back to his old formula also removing Hebishima he left the path clear to someone else, since in his games the MC never end with anybody.

One thing though will be Asuna involvment in the harem if it happen, we all here thinking about it, but most often than not the simple explanation is the right one, Asuna could very well invite all the girls to a girls night at her place, Sinon shows up because she's is Asuna's confident and Sugu hopping to collect any info/proof tag along, Liz drug them like Sugu did to her and Inoda shows up to have his harem night.

Or keep Suguha on drugs all the time? If Kirito is following the path of "Prurience", then if the other girls, as a whole, start dropping out of the battle for Kirito, then what's the point?
