That's what I am saying.... the individual routes are routes of pursuing them sexually. So crossing in others would be involving them in that so it would need to have progress on their route. So basically everything I said.

The plan is to have a priority list of events that can trigger.
There will be cross girl events if you have the girl past a certain point
There will be events that can trigger if you have 2 girls past a certain point.

E.g, if you have celeste to say 6, and lillian to 5 or whatever, the celeste x lillian event can trigger.

So would it be best to try and build the girls we like simultaneously so we do not miss triggers like that?

I was doing that anyway to see how the progress differed from girl to girl.

Yes but you technically wont be able to miss them. Since theyll trigger eventually anyway once you hit the right levels.

Or you can just make the crossover events have storylines that don't require specific events with the girls involved to make sense. After all, the main girls have all lived with the MC for years. Things like a family picnic make sense regardless of how you have or have not pursued one or more of the girls.

My only (potential) gripe with this game is that being a sandbox it's eventually gonna reach a point where playing it is more effort than it's worth to get to the "fun" stuff, having to click through scenes you've already seen hundreds of times to grind various "Points" to certain levels to unlock other stuff, all that unfun BS.... - Glacerose, if you have any plans to deal with this issue (that pops up in 100% of sandbox games I've seen on this site so far), what might they be?


Edit: I note the variations on the aftermath of fight scenes, for example, are they part of your solution?

Obviously we don't see this exactly the same, since you see it as the potential cause of problems and I do not. I also don't consider "crossover events" to be limited to sexual events, because I very much enjoy the other interactions between the characters too.

(a) There's multiple ways to organize a sandbox,

(b) some people like this kind of game more than "fun stuff to fun stuff VNs"

Gonna have one more update coming out before the Steam release. This is solely a polishing update, making the UI elements more crisp, touching up outstanding typos and any bugs, and changing some of the issues that have been heavily reported. (Things like the confusion of navigation, and some of the story tips being confusing)

Oh, I knew of Cab Calloway (Hidey Hidey Ho...). Just didn't know anyone else going by the name "Scatman." Sorry I wasn't clearer distinguishing between a scatman and a Scatman.

Despite downloading V0.22 I now have the same bug the other guy had when going back to ellesmere town centre and getting booted into the weaponsmith's guild

the 0.22 bugfix file isn't linked in OP anymore either, anyone got a copy?

The links do seem correct. Are you sure you launched the right exe? Try extracting it into a completely fresh folder.

Turns out that not everyone can be a magical hero. Did you really think a whole city and society can be inhabited by only adventurers and heroes? Ellesmere still needs people to actually work, support the economy and pay taxes. Looks like you'll be ploughing fields and hauling goods for the rest of the game!

Reminds me of what a friend of mine used to say. He'd claim that he remembered his past life in Atlantis. He was the only sanitation engineer for the whole city. Everyone else was apparently royalty (based upon what people claim). "A bigger bunch of Prima Donnas you never saw." That's why Atlantis sunk. Too many royals, not enough sanitation engineers.
