The files have to be uploaded here first and then our friends will hopefully keep up with the tradition of turning the Shit-Definition videos HD. Then you download them both. So I'd say give it another day. Or at least 12-16 hours.
Thanks for the info!

If you were expecting to see a new game from NLT there, you won't find anything. Most likely, SotS will be released on Steam when it is almost 100% ready.
Previous games have worked liked this. Completion of the main story happens around 80% game completion. The game then gets release onto Steam. The development continues with the remaining 20%, adding extras, side-quests, puzzles, the patrons receiving updates every two weeks, but Steam does not get these updates, they next update they get is when the game reaches 100% completion.

We are now out 19% with development completing around 2% per fortnight (equivalent to 1% per week). So we have 61 weeks to get to 80%, so release on Steam will be around April 2026.

The only additional thing is that in the past, NTL have previously release ‘demo versions’ around the 25% completion mark - I guess this may be made available on Steam - I didn’t notice whether they did that previously.

Is it because there are fewer sponsors, so every time the hero of the place shows up late? I remember that every time the update of TON and TGO came out, it would be here very soon.

This is definitely their least popular game. But they still have over 10k subs, I guess most of them just aren't on this forum lol

When ToN appeared it was one of the most popular games not only here on the site.
When TGO started it was released using an updater. Someone managed to hack the updater and thus the updates were immediately released.
Before the end of TGO the updater could no longer be hacked and there was minimal interest in the game and that spilled over to SotS. As far as I know, it is also distributed using an updater, but there is actually no attempt to hack it and the guys who participated in it are not in the thread at all.

I suspect a lot of this is to do with supporter fatigue. It is pretty expensive being a supporter, at the cheapest you will be paying around £120 for the game, at the most expensive you will be paying £480 - that is a lot for a game that will sell for £10-£15 when it releases on Steam. That would be bad enough if you were supporting something new and exciting but to be honest, SotS is just more of the same but with a limited isometric view, Add to that the cost of living crisis and I'm not surprised that the number of supporters is falling.
