10k supporters who pay monthly - especially the highest tier for $23 in order to play the most recent updates - are the much bigger target audience from a financial point of view than steam sales. Especially since steam contains a lot of dumpster pricing sales.
For instance, people in russia pay 3,84€ for the game. 1,92€ in a sale. Only a few first world countries have the price higher than 10€. But even there sales go as low as 5€. Also Steam takes a 30% comission per sale, Patreon takes 5%.
Over 1.000.000€ that alone would make a difference of 250.000€ - a quarter million - more in revenue on Patreon. Minus some small processing fees, but still a significant difference.

New for SoTS. Lola and Julia have had optional scenes as well. I think we will see more optional scenes in the future

My main point was towards people wanting I content, and how they tthink NLT losing some supporters from the lack of I content is going to really bother him.
Patreon is backed by big banks making it very secure and safe vs other sites like subscribestar.
Also building the games towards being good steam products is a better model.
i also highly doubt many people pay for products in other curriencies outside of their own currency

If you only downloaded the update only, do full redownload instead should fix the issue, did for me.

Well, when he had 1000 paying subscribers, he made 10k a month, at 2500 paying subcribers, he made 25k a month. This is, again, the average estimate as if the middle tier would be the most booked one (I doubt it, I think most people buy the big one so they can play the most recent version).
This means a drop from 15k to 10k subscribers results in -50.000€ a month. That's over half a million in revenue lost over the course of a year, 600.000€ loss to be precise. Even more if the average subscription tier is higher than 10€.
That's like 1/3 of what he used to make just vanished into air, and a crazy amount of money.
He's still making a lot of money and maybe he doesn't even know what to do with all of it. He delivers some of the best NSFW games out there anyways, and as an artist, that's probably what is most important to him since his games really show his passion for making games.
But whether the monetary loss upsets him, and if that's due to the lack of incest in his recent games, are things only he knows. Looking at the data, the decline started by the end of 2023 - that's when The Genesis Order already had been in development for 2 years and people still subscribed without any incest content. Maybe they hoped for a patch after, maybe they didn't care.
I like incest games a lot and it would be cool if SotS would feature it, but I'm not missing it to an amount that would bother me. His games are so good that it's by far not the only reason to play them.

I have to agree. Treasure of Nadia was flawed but amazing. These last two games are lazy phone it in bullshit with terrible writing.
Lust epidemic is unpolished because it was their first game but its like Nadia in terms of flow. Its alot better than these last two even if its not quite as good as nadia.

That mod was used once and the .js file was subsequently overwritten by later FULL version installs of the game. It is no longer active on my game and the game was working fine up until the 26042 update version when it started crashing!!!
All saves are out side of the mod as FULL version installs were used to update the game. There were no issues with the game until the recent batch updates because there were NO FULL UPDATES available after 26041 FULL was available. This is where i started having issues. There were no MODs installed after v13011. The game worked perfectly. It would not install the updates 26041 nor 26042 nor 27043 hence the reason for the FULL install of 26041 when it became available.
Anyone got a save with gallry and so on? I can't be arsed to play this one like the previous games.
