Bruh, updates are way shorter than their previous games' updates.I will allow myself to categorically disagree with you. What NLT and its team are doing is practically a miracle for the adult video game market, compared to the ABSOLUTE majority of other representatives of the genre.
A canonical example is DCwith its long-dead and stinking "Summertime Saga", when after a year and a half break it releases a "technical update for its technical update", where it changes the design of a couple of interface buttons and considers that this is quite a sufficient amount of work. Or another similar "merry milkman" ICSTOR
In contrast to these and many other "non-comrades", NLT's schedule is practically flawless, you can set your watch by it. Yes, would really like to receive "more content" and even faster, but let's still be realistic. I would also like to get the finished version of the game (preferably with the HD-mod) and play it during these New Year holidays, but we need to be grateful for what we have. At this rate of development, we will get the finished version by the end of 26, if only we survive until then
Bruh.I always look at it on the positive side. The update contains 4 scenes at once, which, thanks to the 2k enhancement mod, turn into almost 400 Mb of video. Or 200 Mb in original resolution. Even though NLT let us down with the video quality, people on the forum are also pretty good.

i don't understand this game. (I don't mean how it is played). Every NTL game had a story that built up. It was like a book, you wanted to know from version to version what would happen next. It was exciting and interesting. The relationships of the characters built up bit by bit and in the end you had every woman in bed. All this is no longer the case in Symphony of the Serpent. the story develops far too slowly. New characters are added every version, the relationship between the individual characters doesn't grow up at all. there are just more and more new characters added. so far there are already more than 10 character stories that have been started and are all completely at the beginning. and the characters are boring. Every update only adds 5 minutes to the game time. I have the feeling that the story is progressing so slowly on purpose in order to collect more months of Patreon money. instead of advancing individual character stories and developing the overall story further, there are always new characters where the story is completely at the beginning. should we wait until the end of 2025 until it gets interesting? I don't understand how NTL, which has made such great games, is suddenly doing everything completely differently. in the long run, NTL will be massively demage by this. before anyone complains (I have supported NTL on patreon for a very long time)I will allow myself to categorically disagree with you. I played v01075 and I now downloaded v11121 but I can't load my save file... did they make them incompatible in between? Because with their previous games I never really had an issue with loading my old save when playing a newer version every few months

There is nothing useful about complaining about the models. He knew before he downloaded the game that NLT likes thick so its just feminine bitching. NLT has made his models the same for the past 8 years now. We know what we're going to get. Dont download the game and then act like this is some unknown variable. It isnt. Either enjoy it or move on.
Wasn't trying to bait you at all. Merely pointing out that your expectation is only founded upon your personal preference and has no logic in it. But that's ok. I have my preferences and expectations too. Just that I wouldn't find it surprising if the story doesn't develop in that direction.A strident and heartfelt opinion with which of course I disagree with but stand up for your right to express freely hereabouts as always.
Having said that, cheers to you too on this happy season, and goodwill not just to men but to all.

Money hacks / altered save files always break NLTs games. This will be a waste of time

This game is clearly being build with steam sales in mind. Large animated fully voiced cutscenes, different difficulties, diverse cast and more. NLTs games have sold over 1m copies so far on steam, and that doesn't include GoG, Patreon, Grown Ups or Itch.
It's clear to me that this game will play well once it's a complete game. We are essentially playing a Alpha / Beta of the game. We've barely scratched the story, and I'm sure a ton of gameplay mechanics are coming.

I don't see NLT dropping RPGM, considering he's been making games in it for years. Ever heard of the saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it"? If he dropped RPGM for anything else, he'd have to spend way more time learning new technologies that might not even let him do what he wants to do with his game.

He's just invested in the new RPGM engine. Modding it to his specifications that probably took ages. He's also hired staff including an ex Disney lead animator for SoTS. I don't think NLT is going to care about what we on a pirate site is saying. Proof will be in the steam sales and reviews. And that won't be for another few years

In fact, other engines can provide enormous opportunities... This is a free camera, various light sources in real time, but in words it already sounds insanely expensive. And this still does not relieve us of the need to write a script and make models. We need to retrain, perhaps expand the team and much more. NLT knows its capabilities and runs on a platform that can offer gameplay and can present scenes beautifully.
Such changes are very risky and will not necessarily be successful. I can't remember anything erotic and successful on modern engines.
There is one game in space about a captain with panties on his head (you probably guessed it), but it also has its limitations, a team of people, good support at the start, and a stubborn zeal to see the project to the end..And they didn't have to jump between engines.
I'll leave it up to you to decide how good that other game is. But I will say that in terms of the camera angle, the staging of the scenes and the sexuality of the girls, they cannot compete with NLT.
