It does not. It just does some damage and leave a gas, that bat shit moves a lot! And till that point I had used all the bombs the game provides. I have to cheat to add more!

And that freakn dog fights! Manually it is impossible, have to use the items. And you were careless or did not care about pick ups it is another impossible task! I did beat it using all the items and some manual fight attacks but still add 0 value to the game!

NLT has 0 idea on how to make fair fight mechanic. I can't believe i defended it saying it was easy to learn before when it was just some thugs and that annoying guy in the store.

I was lucky then, in my play through, the two bat encounters were dealt with one gas bomb each. I’m sure you are right, but in my case, I hit the bats straight away and they got hit multiple times until they died as they stayed in the cloud.

Maybe because, in the silly fight mechanics, the enemy stays stationary until the MC has made a number of moves. For what ever reason, in my case, the bats did not move out of the cloud when hit, they just remained stationary until they died - in both cases, the first with the two smaller bats, both killed with a single gas bomb and the second with the single larger bat also killed with a single gas bomb.

At first I was excited, but now it just feels like the same formula and kind of forced. I haven't played the last few updates, because I can't get into it.

His best work is still up to the first half of Nadia imo.

- this game has basically the same stereotypical characters as the others
- almost all of them kinda look like dysmorphic plastic dolls (with even bigger balloon boobs and super wide hips)
- combat is just awful (yes you can spam weapons/items but how fun is that?)
- the writing, especially right before sex scenes, probably even makes porn writers shake their heads (even at the beginning the girls throw themselves at you for no reason which was usually sth. NLT "saved" for late game)

Overall a step back as of now, which is a shame because I really liked his early works and always thought that NLT was able to use RPGM in a fun way.

The poor writing COULD be justified by the fact that there is now a sex virus epidemic. However, Julia is clean and even though I expected her to be the last person to get involved with the MC, she's here far sooner than expected, even when she knows MC and her daughter have a thing going on. I miss how long it took to get something going with Diana, Claire, Sophia and pretty much the rest of them. I guess NLT has just given in to the will of the paying fans instead of pursuing its own creativity. If they say give us Julia NOW, NLT is gonna give us Julia NOW... But yeah. Despite all that, the writing could be SO MUCH better... smh Can't complain though. Nobody's forcing me to play this thing other than the fact that I'm just invested in the story after all these years. And I've never paid a single dime to NLT. So. I guess it is what it is. Take it or leave it. Pretty sad to see all that potential going to waste though... Pretty sad...

Well I enjoyed this chapter.

Some of the shots in the animations were fantastic, e.g., the bird's eye view of Ethan, Grace and Lola as they walked slowly towards the Osiran temple was gorgeous and incredibly movie-like.



What other developer takes the trouble to create such brilliant throw-away scenes in their lewd games? I absolutely love stuff like this! Several new areas on the map also got opened which is always a good thing. Don't forget to visit areas in the desert to pick up weapons, treasures, coyote pelts, health, all sorts of useful shit scattered randomly there.

I would have preferred more exploration of the temple rather than spending so much time battling coyotes, rioters, bats and having a mano a mano scrap with Leon, but , overall, this episode was an enjoyable feast for the eyes. The art of SotS is GREAT for fuck's sake! Am I the only one noticing? Open your peepers, guys, and let the sheer beauty of the game wash over you. Too many complaints hereabouts and too little appreciation for the developer's efforts going on here I reckon. Symphony of the Serpent and its engine are evolving and shaping up to be something marvellous IMHO.

I take this opportunity to wish all you fuckers, whoever you may be, a happy new year whether you deserve it or not!

on your left (in the corner) there's marked path going to some rocks.

no " not developed yet" message, no movement blocked lie the other unavailable areas..

Probably not and in any case it wouldn't make any sense based on established relationships between the characters. From Genesis Order onwards names and kinship terms are hard coded in the game rather than variables which can be reinitialised using an external file outside the game. Going through all the dialogue and changing names and kinship terms manually seems too much of a challenge for anybody to bother doing, but maybe someone with no life to speak of will do it eventually at some point. I wouldn't put it past them.

Gas bombs does 1 damage and then leaves a stink that could cause further damage if one walks into it.

IIRC actual bomb does 2 damage.

In HeroHarems guide video a gas bomb one shots the large bat. As it gets trapped against a wall and stuck in the gas

The videos have a much higher resolution, are in 60FPS, have much more clarity, are color-corrected, have less compression-artifacts and a slightly sharper image. It's only tested on Windows-PCs. MacOS could also work.

In fact, this is the only video that I couldn't find in the Common Events file. You're right! We'll probably be able to fix this once we find a solution.

Bro, what did you change in CommonEvents though? lol Just wondering. Edit: Never mind. I guess it was just the screen dimensions or something.

This file contains commands for the video plugin, which is responsible for correct scaling. You have to write a command for each video. NLT also constantly updates this file. This means that you need to transfer the changes already made to the new version of the file.

By the way, the text of the characters is also there.
