Tips for players:
* You need to have acid to dig rock.
* To do surface actions, drag drones to the missions.
* That is about all I have figured out, this shit is confusing.

Note to developer: Need to automate the breeding the queen. Having to chase her around all the time to make eggs id distracting and frustrating. The drones can store fluids, let the queen store some man fluids.

really like this game so fair. would like to see more development. also i did get this warning: "ws.reputaion.1" however not to worry. but would note though for future sake.

I got stuck once. Somehow a thing I was breeding with was able to move away, leaving me stuck with an animation of thrusting at nothing and the colony basically being on automatic.

The Vitae Gland can add a human to it. Afterward, it shows up as a green block, no art or anything. The description doesn't mention a human can be added, or what doing so will do for you.

Sounds awesome on paper but its way too bare bones right now. Watching drones do literally everything but what I want them to do and my hive refusing to produce resources while also not telling me whats wrong got old pretty quick. Ill keep an eye on it.

Shouldn't there be a "monster tag" ? Haven't tried it yet, but since you're playing a xenomorph of sort in an alien hive, it feels strange to not see them as monsters.

Really interesting concept, definitely needs more time in the oven though. Something to come back and check on in six months or so.

It dont work for me. Black screen and if i turn my mouse to the task line i see the game or it freeze... waiting for updates

i would say the big problem is 'not knowing what the problem IS'. OK, the Vitae isn't getting where it needs to. Why? Not enough pumps for pressure? Not enough Vitae to cover everything? Things aren't going where they should to make the rest of the network work?

I'm sure everyone has screamed about the annoyingly complex plumbing mechanics, so let me be clear.
There's a bug preventing a critical production building from functioning. Neurotissue generators will never be supplied by Drones, and even when modified not to require biomass, they never produce anything. Ever.
No Neurotissues, no drone synapse nodes, no nerve nodes, the entire other half of the annoyingly complicated mechanics can never be built and the player's hive has a HARD cap of drones that limit how big they can grow.
The worst part is this will likely be one of the better builds. One of the features intended is to rotate buildings with a purpose. Like, to force you to lay piping to specific sides of a building. That's right, the plan is to make the overly-elaborate mechanics even more restrictive.

At least, hear the fruits of my labor. All structures have a maximum fluid count, shared among all fluid types (Green fuel, Red fuel, Acid) and if they can't push anything out they get stuck. You need to use Membranes to avoid clogging your production buildings with fuel they can't use or the unusable acid, rendering them completely useless and forcing you to destroy/rebuild them.
Secondly, pressure flows both ways and does not respect Input/Output pipes. If your plumbing gets blocked up and you can't figure out why, make sure you haven't made a loop as that'll cause seemingly random points in the flow to back up with only the ever-vague blood drop as a bug report.
Thirdly, just don't fucking bother. There's nothing to see here but a weirdly elaborate plumbing simulator disguised as a lewd strategy game.

You need to use Membranes to avoid clogging your production buildings with fuel they can't use or the unusable acid, rendering them completely useless and forcing you to destroy/rebuild them.

Looking at the files, the data files are in .lua. Even basic Notepad can open them. So you can mod the storage up, thankfully.

Five Drones. This is a hard cap on your hive's size because no matter how efficient and automated you make your economy, you still need drones to physically shovel Biomass into your green fuel refineries, making an EXTREMELY QUICK ceiling that's not much more then two buildings worth.
Remember, you also need drones to lay resin, dig tunnels, build structures, help the queen lay, shovel biomass into your resin plant, it's quickly unsustainable.

I mean, sure, you can, but that just delays the issue.
The main issue is that there is no way to stop unrefined fuel from flowing straight through your refineries and ending up in your fuel tanks. Basically, Red Fuel generators and Acid Pits are constantly leaking green fuel into their output pipe, so if you don't use a membrane to filter that out you'll quickly clog whatever you're trying to power with Red generators or fill the tank you're using to distribute Acid to your drones.
What's worse? Should a leak occur, there is literally no way to flush it out without destroying and rebuilding the clogged structure. It's a permanent debuff to the building's maximum Red Fuel capacity.
Acid Pits are literally the worst. Their output is one third acid, one third Green Fuel, and one third Red Fuel, because there is nothing actually keeping fluids inside production buildings, even if they themselves use it.
I will need more experimenting to figure out if some mucking about with filters will allow me to run runoff green fuel back into the original generator without causing malfunctions, but this isn't just hyperrealistic plumbing in a silly porn game, this is the literal worst possible nightmare a plumber could ever face.
Have yet to beat the game, I cannot wait to see what WIP 'You're Winner' screen awaits me, but this is one ROUGH Alpha test that got accidentally released for public review.

I have arch Linux and liblua5.1 installed but another version and due to this the game won't start. However this seems to work for me:

It does seem to crash right after new game in 33% of the runs though.
