Hmm... I'm currently at the museum with Nia and got some thoughts wanted to share already.
Renders quality are top notch. And by that I do not mean just static images but also animations and environment consistency (which many game has problem with). There were some scenes with perfectly adjusted music/sounds to it (like police academy throwback). Overall the feeling during gameplay is one of the best I had in AVNs, despite it being "another college game" I really enjoy it by not seeing (very) unnatural postures/bodies, weird decorations at the locations, messed up scale/proportions and many other things that often kicks me out of immersion in AVNs here.
Overall music is kinda nice, nothing too intrusive, nothing I will listen for weeks even after I will be done playing, just as it should be I would say. And again, I find it most of the time very nice adjusted to situation although (as I mentioned in previous post) these voiceovers ("oh", "ah", "heh" etc) which are over 5000 in this game are too much for me and I had to manually delete them from game files. Considering not everyone can or will be able to do that it would be great to either get rid of it completely, limit its amount or give player choice to turn it off in settings.
And here goes reason I even wanted to make this post. Gameplay itself. Dialogues, characters and story is surprisingly very good, especially dialogues. Dialogues are great because they feel very natural, girls do not talk about having sex with MC after 5 minutes like many games (especially college themed) do. I enjoy games with perks like that ALTHOUGH... I have the same problem here I had with
Rebirth but here on even larger scale -
game is almost purely story driven with no choices to make. "Came here to fap, stayed for the story" is something dev took really seriously here since there is barely any sex scene so far. There were just two optional blowjobs (Iona and Nirmala) and couple scenes from the past with Phoebe. Also there is almost no relationship points system, there was one choice outside MC's room where our decision effected either Delphia, Simon or Zemfira - that's it...
So... So far my rating is still unknown and I guess it varies depends on players expectations. Seeing all the positive things from the start I feel little disappointed with lack of choices and sex scenes but at the same time when I realize and make peace with that, that this is "one of these games" I can start focusing fully on story and enjoy overall quality of this production. Shame it was not squeezed more but yeah, still very enjoyable.
