Welp, you're wrong with this assumption. It has no less content, it just comes in 2 separate pieces - base game + patch. Both are in first post now and can be downloaded separately. Summing them up - it's bigger even just by total size.
There seems to be same amount if CG and a bit less of scenes in gallery tho.
UPD. Loaded my latest save into it. All scenes and CG are unlocked. Looks like there's a few fixes here and there in art, but seems like no new content. Loaded the save file and got Mary's night scenes sequence as only open quest. Can't remember had I done them and where them in 1.0.35 before saving or not, but that's all the "new" stuff for me from 1.0.35 to 1.1.53. Don't waste your time downloading if you finished 1.0.35

I specifically stated that it appears as if they took all the content out that would violate itch's rules -- that's the base game you talk about.
Then I pointed to the 18+ patch mentioned that adds in the content they took out. They created an official patch of Clara's rape scenes, etc that isn't hosted on itch. This way, they hope not to get banned from itch like they did from Patreon and Steam.
The base game v1.1.53_beta on itch IS smaller than previous versions. Until, that is, you add the official patch from another site.
And, just like I have stated over and over, there is no new content added with any of these fixes. New content will only be seen in future Season 2 Redux, Season 3 Redux, etc.

Right - Season 1 Redux is DONE.
There won't be new possible content until Season 2 Redux.

Script needs a real proper proofreading/editing because nearly every line in my playthrough scratches my brain to be amended or revised in some capacity. And I've only just finished the first Sara class scene.

There is no such thing and there has been no such thing since day 1, several years ago, when it was first started.
Also, for which version?
For v0.89.8 "Seasons 1-4" - If you played v0.82.4/v0.85.1 - just use the save code for it to start at the new content for that version.
For v1.07.3 "Season 5" - If you haven't ever played any of what they called "Season 5" - you need to start at the beginning of it, because it includes nothing from "Seasons 1-4". If you played v0.95.7 "Season 5" main route - just use the save code for it to start at the new main route content for that version. If you played v0.95.7 "Season 5" netorare route - there is no new content in that version.
For Season 1 Redux - no, because it's the beginning of the story (about 1/5th of all the earlier draft content - about 1/4th of v0.89.8) with some new content added.

Man, I truly hate and despise the fact that Uber drifted from the ORIGINAL story and direction, just so that they could "Comply" with stupid guidelines on regulated platforms only to be denied every step of the way, truly is something man. Anyone who has been around for a long time, knows what the true nature of the story and game is, that's why we all play it, and yet, we watched as it got watered down and changed into a shallow version of itself just to capitulate.

Even that I don't support them anymore because they scammed people , 1 year of waiting for Redux for 3 new scenes and almost every scenes deleted from the last TRUE version of the game!
