Why does the Title Screen call it: "Exorcist Maiden: Resurrected ... (Interlude)"?
I didn't accidentally get a standalone DLC or something, did I?

If google translate is to be trusted, this game was sold under a tentative name on DLsite for years. No amount of title jank would surprise me.

The developer never actually decided on a title for this game, so it's had a placeholder title all the way through release and completion. Like, the official thing has had "Tentative" as part of its title on DLSite ever since it released.

I assume at some point the decision paralysis just became part of the joke.

Edit: It's current title on DLsite is "The Resurrected Exorcist Maiden (Tentative Title)"

Enjoyable at first, getting used to the game gimmicks, but some of the difficulty curves and mid/late grinding are kinda rough.

Finding out where to go could have been made more clear. Just for everyone else's sake, you have 6 locations you have to go to.
Shire (first mission, eastern island).
Boat (North East)
Lighthouse (North)
Well (swamp in the NorthWestish)
Apartment Complex (Westish, kinda middlish of mining place).
School (A bit less west? West of village but East of Mining Complex).

You also have to redo boss fights over and over until you get a cutscene for darkness. I just rekilled the lighthouse boss over and over since the other bosses seemed to actually scale.

For the lighthouse boss, there are lots of tips and tricks, but just use backstep when any of the smaller ghosts have >50% gauge, that will keep you out of the cages. First time I fought it, it seems to have way too much hp, but twinned strike did pretty well on further runs. All the in game tips about look really closely for a yellow bird, and the game keeping your target lock help, but a couple more tips, the real one should have the same AP as the boss gauge. At the start It should be 1 "left" press from your initial target lock. During phase 2, it should be 1 "right" press from the big ghost, at least it was for me in my multiple attempts. Fire res items help too, but aren't needed.

After fighting the "true bosses", which was just more tedium, I got the chance to try the final boss... I assume...
I am probably underleveled, getting there at level 50 on normal difficulty. Boss just hand down one shots me if I am not defending ever. I can get to what I assume is the final phase on the lowest difficulty, but the ultimate spam 1 shots me most of the time if I am not guarding, no time to setup any type of healing, and even in my best attempt landing 3 ultimate attacks didn't finish it off. Quite the difficulty spike, with no options except to load an earlier save. Quite annoying after a 15 minute fight to lose to something like that multiple times, though maybe I am just missing the trick.

Just makes the last half of the game feel tedious, as spamming bosses over and over to level up doesn't sound fun, and the enemies aren't really that enjoyable to mass farm either.

Does anybody know what's the code for the supporter costume? (after the shitty exorcist appeared eating at the inn, there is a pink luggage in the lower left room, asking for a three number code)

EDIT: already answered, its 282

There's also a UFO by the southwest corner of the map. I think it should've appeared after clearing all the bosses with the dark clouds for the first time, but I'm not too sure. Could be after the final boss. It's end game content, and beating it unlocks some pretty neat stuff. There's food over there that gives 1000% multipliers to XP for people who want to get everything done. The game is pretty much over at that point, so it's just bonus content.

The bosses here were probably built with a full-kit in mind, which makes them a bit harder to face when you don't have the needed skills unlocked (which unfortunately requires grinding). For example, there's an ero skill that gives you massive TP for every ero attack you receive, so the ultimate becomes spammable pretty early on. Honestly, the ult isn't a very good use of TP since the damage after the first one dips pretty significantly, and it's more like an emergency tool that may or may not kill an annoying enemy. Skills and magic are more reliable, and not having a counter or AoE in hand will screw you over in later fights.

You can also change equipment mid-fight, which trivializes a lot of enemy types. For example, chainsaw plus cross counter deals absurd amounts of damage while giving pretty hefty chunks of TP. The nail bat is also deceptively weak, but it really helps out in dealing with bosses that spam projectiles at you, like that Well boss and the Lighthouse boss, which trivialize their fights. The projectile counter is also pretty good, but the dps is a bit lacking compared to skills.

I grinded the hell out of this game during covid, and I'm currently replaying it now that the translation's out. There was a lot of things that I apparently didn't realize while playing the game in Japanese, like how you were supposed to ignore the Ship boss's tentacles or how there was a countdown at the end over there, and some other minor interactions. Like how tap water frees you from the sea cucumber tentacles, and so on. I didn't understand how food worked back then too, so I might've grinded more than necessary. I'm at about level 55 while doing the True ship boss for the first time on this playthrough, though I did hover around the Spicy difficulty, so that might've given me more XP to work with too.

Man im glad this games finally in english, now i can know whats being said during the battle calls, what my skills do, what the skill books ive been buying do, what all the things i was equipping do (like seriously, playing this in the og japanese had me going "Maybe this is good for my build"). Ive heard good things about the dialogue form those who could speak both languages, and man they were not wrong, this shit is FUNNY.

Is this a scripted event that must be a lost?
If so, that's a bit boring, I wasted my time keeping a clean record until this point for nothing I guess... 1758600152346.png

How do I turn the game into true fullscreen? I've pressed Alt-Enter a few times and the widest still has black borders on the left and right

Yes, forced loss. Myself and a few others have shown dissatisfaction over this fact.
It's worth noting that Miko doesn't actually lose her virginity from this loss; they just mess with her with vibrators without penetrating her.

Though I can understand being mad if you hemorrhaged a lot of important consumables trying to win the fight. I know I did the first time I ran into the fight playing some earlier version of the game.

how many? because i looked at the pictures and only like the fucking monkey seems to do so
Monkey-crawler for sure.
Also the goblins in the first dungeon east from your starting point have penetration.

I believe the fox and monkey boss duo have penetration? Don´t really remember that part, its years in the past. (southern dungeon. School type with slimes and co)

How to get to the space ship looking area I'm kinda stuck
It unlocked for me after beating all bosses.
*Beating the final true boss* (the one that cycles through all boss attacks in phase 2 or so)
Then after beating the final boss a cutscene starts and you see the UFO crashing far west.

Ugh... I don't really have time to finish this one. Walking through tons of enemies and searching for bosses is kinda wearing me down. There isn't much issues but with amount of walking around and searching for bosses.
