Is this download worth it? I've tried playing several different times but no matter how many new updates I play it feels like the amount of content doesn't increase and I end in the same place.

It is a very small update.
It's just finishes the conversation you have with Rina in version 3.2.
3.2 stops just before you get the coffee,
In 3.3 you get the coffee and finish the conversation with her.
Also there is a very small progress when you choose check on Jerome.

Agree with that for the purchase, that's what I tend to do.
Afterwards, despite the patreon, and given the quality, it was developed non-professionally.
it will take time, I would say that we see the end in 2025
