I'd like to make a game about a futanari society. I've got several, I hope, fresh ideas, though I'm not sure if people would like to support game creation of this genre these nowadays. Anyway, I can design the game, it's routes, sense, underlayers, development process etc., but not write texts (not a native speaker) and make visuals (not really an artist). For now, I'm gathering stones together. I hope some day to throw them at all futanari fans.
I don't want/like to be "that guy" but it's not really the place to do it
I mean, most people here are here because they either don't want to pay or can't, so you may try to sell your project, but it's not here that you will get financial support, moral support maybe.

As for me, if you have futa in a game, it's likely i will play it at some point, believe in yourself and your project, don't let people get to you and follow your dreams ;)

One word:
Cloning
Majalis have the money, as well as the ambition, they can start the scientific effort to clone themselves.

I'm only assuming, based on the info you gave me, as I don't believe I was even a Patron when the option/feature you're talking about was voted in.
Yeah i assumed that what it was, was about the more sex you have the more sex perk points you get being a seperate tab for players who like to play combat handjobs and stuff.

Artists still kept cranking out pictures and writers kept writing despite never really having an appreciable audience because no one wants to waste time on comprehending words
This right here is a good point. More art means nothing if there's no writing for the art to be used in. The Kiss PoV art is a great addition, as that can be implemented into tons of content with those existing characters as well as the combat with them. It's good thinking about the Long-Term use of that art, as well as the writing that already exists which it can be applied to.

Also, as you mentioned, writing Futa content is a balancing act of making sure the Futa aspect is considered but also that the world-building/character development remains consistently engaging as well. Tone is important too, which ToA pulls off really well.

Yeah, I'm not looking for support here. I've just replied to a post with sharing of my wishes to a guy who shared his thoughts on the scene.

Anyway, it's a chance for people to throw a stone onto my pile.

This is not a monthly build. There's basically always new art or an animation in each weekly. God these comments are frustrating when we just spent the last year literally not even going outside, doing almost nothing but working on ToA.
Just ignore them, i know i do, there's no winning with these guys and i know it can be frustrating, best way is just to let it slide and not give them the attention they crave for.

Also, keep up the good work, this game is amazing!

So, seems Tales of Androgyny is potentially going to get three characters into the Mudae Discord Bot!
Alma the Warlock, The Brigand and Hiro the Enchanter.

When they're added, it might not be all three, I'd like to put some more images in for them through the Mudae Server. If anyone has any good expressions of Alma, The Brigand and Hiro, I'd love to see them!

(I'll be able to crop out the NSFW content of the references, but it has to be official Majalis art. No Fan Art, since these are official characters of a game.)

Example of some potential images that can be added, their main images are all neutral crops, for ideas:

Weekly Community Fan Poll time!

So, if you didn't know, there's kissing PoV artwork for Trudy and Alma. In this artwork we get to see our companion's reactions as they're kissed by Hiro, either during combat or scenes, all of which are very well done!
So it must be asked:

(Not including the current companions since, going by the pattern, it's very likely they'll be also getting these PoV artworks too.)

Poll options:
  • Helena & Persephone
  • Brigand
  • Cait
  • Dullahan
  • Goblin (Male & Female)
  • Other (Comment)
Dullahan easily

Yup can +1 that. Its the most demoralizing thing ever.
It really is. I have seen plenty of projects just die because no one said anything either good or bad about it. Another thing that kills would-be projects is a lot of folks just do not realize how time-consuming and complex game development is. It is massive rabbit hole to jump down and it can outright overwhelm people to were they just throw their hands up and walk away. A lot of development software out there is also not that newbie-friendly and the ones that are require extra effort (read: advanced scripting) to allow amateur devs to get what they want out of the engine. There is a reason why Yanfly made a name for him or her self with all of the RPG Maker plugin scripts, for example.

I also concluded that a good deal of indifference also comes down to lack of fetish catering. In the end, no matter how much input a developer has from the fans, the game is ultimately made for the developers themselves. If a dev includes fetishes that are not that popular, a potential player will pass on it without a second thought. It is the nature of the audience base. A game can be full-blown professional quality, but if it doesn't include something that the greater audience wants, it will collect dust regardless of its merits.

....Other developers have problems with getting the talent together...
Find me an artist and/or writer who can actually make deadlines and I'll have an entire Unity or web based framework, built, tested and ready for alpha within 3-5 months. And that's while holding down a full time day job.

I hear that. :ROFLMAO: Find me an artist who can actually take directions and draw the character the way she is described and not add "artistic license" that is the opposite of the description.

That wouldn't even bother me at this point as long as I don't have to wait 2 months between each asset and the game gets released some time before 3057.
I guess it would depend on how much "artistic vision" the artists take.
If it still looks like what you want and wrote about with only minor differences that most people won't notice, fine.
If it's a total 180 and something completely different, you'll be pissed i'm sure.

Greg Land keeps getting regular work from Marvel because he's a nice guy to work with and he's always on time, even though everybody knows he traces porn and not even really well.

artists capable to keep deadlines are worth their weight in gold.

Apologies if I'm hijacking this thread.

For sure. The ones I've worked with were part of the creative process, so that hasn't been a problem. They also produced beautiful assets. It's totally a time management issue.

I'm an illustrator in addition to being a professional dev. You might be like, well why not do everything yourself? Because I'm not that much of a masochist. Many hands make light work and all that.

Back to the main point of how difficult it is to get a solid team together for a project like this and that Majalis are one of the few capable of delivering.

A double smooch from the vampire ladies would be pretty sick ngl
A lot of characters deserve more love
the vampire duo deserve to at least have an ending in what content they have (last time i played and fought them, you fought them one at a time and the last fight against both was either locked or unfinished)
Some characters like the town vendor should have at least a few scenes, she looks like she's only a placeholder right now

But yeah, a double smooch would be nice ;)
