Guess what? I chose the other three traits, beauty, athleticism and luckTo be fair, I think the starting maze might be the biggest mistake I ever made in my games. I don't even like mazes myself, so I don't know what possessed me. The silver lining is that 2 out of 5 traits can help here (although that does mean there is a chance you picked the other 3 and you have to force your way through):
Perceptive is the most useful, as it tells you where to go next when you examine the room. Smart automatically erases "fake" exits once you pick the right one in that room, so progress becomes easier as you go on.
If I could go back, I would probably make it so that another trait worked here, so that no matter what you picked, you wouldn't have to go through the maze raw. Well, If I really could go back, I would either remove the maze, or make it so you can gather some intel about it, and turn into more of a puzzle in some way, rather than the mess it currently is. XD
I thought the clue was in the dead guard's room, then I thought I had to follow a pattern with the random phrases the AI on the glasses said (in blue letters), but nothing worked.
I think the Luck trait had to have some minimal benefit here
