No, It will make sense once you played all scenes. You don't have to wait until the game is finished. As mentioned I put links in where I felt it is essential for the storyline. "I guess" it makes sense to me as I develop the scenes based on the existing ones. I can see the problem when starting to play the game for the first time.

I guess it is like with any game, there is mixed feedback. Most love the fact that they can play any scene at any time how often they want to. I appreciate that it might make a storyline a bit difficult. I guess you can't please everyone. I hope you enjoy it anyway.
my problem is where to start. should i play all events at one location and then switch to another? how to pick 2nd location? spin the bottle? from left to right or vice-versa? where are these essential links? most important is there storyline at all? of course that storyline exists and you see it. you wrote it and i believe that in your head is good storyline (considering very good c1). but i can't read your mind or see order how did you write scenes.
i can't understand how it will make sense after playing all scenes if i'm playing randomly.
i understand some people like replay scenes. even i do sometimes. but heck, you could add playable gallery and keep normal game. and both sides would be happy. now you have big gallery but not game anymore. and mix feedback in marketing is bad news.
your game, you do what you want or think is best. results will be visible in number of followers. but from my pov c2 is big turn off.

It doesn't have any fluff or grind like other games do. It goes pretty much straight to the point. If you want to spend a few hours clicking until you get to the interesting bits than this game is not for you.
The fact you'd completely dismiss off and summarize any meaningful surrounding gameplay elements up as "fluff", while also taking such a straight to the point development approach to the sexy time content...is also essentially why this game ended up going straight to "never had much of a financial chance" and minimal generated support status.

But as long as you are good with your own "purpose" here, which is to dump a ton of invested effort into a game that is basically being made so that an astronomically small target audience of the most extreme taste posters here can hopefully throw that couple of minimum $5 monthly donations at your feet while 95%+ of the other people typically attracted to trashy female mc GAMES still end up passing your game right by without even giving it a serious look...more power to you though.

Not that there is ultimately anything wrong with that mind you...but yeah. Personally, I'd of already chalked up the whole attempt to create a game centered *that* heavily around the exhibitionism as a financial development L though, and a lesson learned to take into a future game efforts if you decide to go that route.

I think there is no purpose to the game other than having hot girls getting fucked but then again most of the time they are fucked by ugly old bastards so
Sounds like what happened to Star Wars when Diznee got the rights to the franchise ...

that's the funniest joke :ROFLMAO:

While I sometimes make the effort here to thoroughly explain why any perception being built around a couple of extremely active and vocal forum posters here on a piracy board can sometimes unknowingly be a first time dev's worst enemy, I'll just simply break it down like this for you:

The game released a year ago today. One that is up to offering 8gb of content, and which to this point has accumulated him a grand total of 68 patreon subs.

The only real joke there is trying to read something else into that other then the obvious. If any game development formula is going to be able to adequately get away (on a financial level) with an all sex and fairly substance'less game existence beyond that...it's *not* going to be the one heavily catering to a supposed large supporting extreme exhibitionism-in-games market base that doesn't actually exist.

Some side dish fetishes are best left as side dishes, and not something you offer as an exclusive main course option and while banking that's a good investment idea to build your entire restaurant around.

Wow that wasn't condescending at all. From somebody who's not vocal at all - just hammering the same none point over and over and covering with so many pompous words his dislike of a game.

It is completely ridiculous to write that porn gamers who like porn are " astronomically small target audience".
Maybe there are other factors like
- the game market is extremely competitive
- it takes time for a game to grow following definitely more than a year

Can't you find other "substance'less" games to hate?

I don't think any of these games make financial sense. I for my part do it because it's fun. The Patreon money helps with buying 3D Objects (not cheap) and better hardware so I can produce more content. I'm not doing this for a living. Adding "fluff" to the game might (or might not) attract more supporters but I don't want to spend my free time creating 100s of renders about some story around the actual exiting bits.

I appreciate all feedback and take many things on board, but as mentioned above, you can't please everyone....

No what I meant is an actual game. When I first tried this one it was basically a VN with not much of a story.
So to clarify my question: are there any meaningful choices that make me feel involved in the game (routes etc that let you tackle some the scenes differently.

And yes if it still is basically just VN then it's indeed not up my alley. Might still be good for someone else who likes VNs.
But I'm rather old school and kinda enjoy the "grind" if it's not too much. I played RPGs when you still had to type "goto forest" etc pp :D
So yeah even with XXX games I need to have the feeling to control the action other wise I can just read a comic or watch a movie. :D

When you open the game for the first time you are in Tamara's apartment. So that's a good place to start. I would also suggest to go from the top in each location. As I mentioned before, there are pointers and links where I felt that it is important for the story line. These links don't show if you have gone through the relevant scenes already.

You will see that it makes sense when you have gone through the majority of the little stories...

Nope...most stories are interlinked to give it an overall story but there aren't any choices to manipulate the outcome.

so why didn't you add to map some board, task book (like one with charachters) that will lead players through storyline (where to go next)? every sandbox game has it.

Well there is plenty of people out there making a decent chunk of coin doing this that would disagree with that.

But hey, and which the other guy there chiming in apparently couldn't follow along with, as long as you yourself are good with *this* game never generating anything close to that level of general interest or support out of the obvious amount of effort you are putting in to it...then that is all that really matters in the end there.

Even if a little "fluff" can sometimes go a long way though ;)

Feedback is very important yet there are many bad faith critics. These are put out in order to demotivate and thin out the dev field.
If there is just lashing out without any constructive suggestions - it is probably background noise not worth listening to.

You posted that under the assumption that every dev is trying to make their fortune but that's wrong on so many levels.

Most devs have enough common sense to know they won't make a living doing this and use it to make a bit extra on top of full time jobs. Some only bother opening a patron acount to use it to buy assets for that game and maybe some hardware upgrades.

A good chunk of devs here do this as a hobby, nothing more.

On that note not all games are going to be for everyone. Some devs want to cater to those side dish fetishes because it's what they enjoy.

At the end of the day, no matter how niche it is, it's still found a player base.

One thing some people on this forum need to learn is if a game isn't getting content that you personally enjoy then you are not the target audience.

Like other devs creating niche games have said, they are making something they enjoy and other people happen to enjoy it to then that's awesome.

The weird thing about this website is the amount of people that think games should cater to them and the amount of supposed adults that need to be told that maybe some games aren't for them because they can't seem to figure it out on their own.

well since the dev went to the new format, while the renders and models are good, game is piece of crap.
