Well dev was on here yesterday but there has been no word from the dev on patreon since Jan 13.

Edit: maybe the last scene in v0.5 was a hint for the game being "finished"? The MC was taken by the police

That is not the full rule, dev was last seen on here today.

Abandoned tag goes up for 2 different ways.
1. No contact from the dev in 90 days on here or there main site.
2. No game update regardless of how active the dev is for 180 days.

Now if TWizard would come here and let us know the status it would be great.

I just saw that TWizard has another game on here that's abandoned. Its path to abandonment is eerily similar to what we see here. That thread started in August 2021, and it seems it was updated regularly until the New Year. It was then abandoned.

In August 2022, this game came out. it was updated regularly until the New Year. It was then abandoned.

Will we see another new game in August 2023?

Not sure if I would consider this one abandoned yet. The pattern matches, yes, but I personally would give this awhile longer before just assuming. Prior to this, there's only one instance of the same pattern. You could be right, but so far this isn't really a good basis for a sound assumption.

I never said you shouldn't or couldn't comment. I simply disagreed and felt your assessment was too quick.

At the time I posted my comment, there was no Abandoned (prefix, not tag) on the thread. I wouldn't have posted what I did if there had been. They may have added it very shortly after I posted, but I'm someone who actually looks before posting.

Also, BTW, F95 marking something Abandoned doesn't mean it actually is. (This very well could be but IJS that a label here doesn't necessarily match reality.)

I assume because there was some activity here in this thread a mod checked it and set the abandoned now because of the F95 rules (now post from the developer here or on his Patreon for some time). Still would be nice to get an info from the dev if this game is really stopped now or not.

Yep, I think you're right. And I agree that some word about it would be nice.

The rule is no activity either here or there main site for more than 90 days or no game update in 18 months.

No post either here or there main site in over 6 months is why this has gotten the abandoned tag, should have gotten it 3 months ago.

Dev been on here just last Friday but did not post anything in over 6 months now.

Setting the tag here was most likely because of the no activity from the dev, actually since January. Beeing only online here does not count. There most be an "activity" like a post/comment, too.

Well, since it's now tagged as abandoned this will stay now until a new game version is released.

All I was stating is that the game met the requirements to be set as Abandoned. Nothing more.

You are correct and this should have gotten the abandoned tag 3 months ago because there have not been any post for over 6 months now.
