I never noticed the toilet paper ever so I don't think I would notice if there was or never was a patch for the toilet paper as my mind was on other things when I was in there.

I didn't tell her I loved her and she turned me down, didn't go back and try with saying that I did, so dunno if that changes it.

I was about to post a 400+ word rant I’d written moaning about the repetitive questions and comments that take up so much space on this thread. ‘Read the Thread’ or ‘Read the Opening Page’ are great advice and to regulars here like me might seem to be the only answers necessary in 99% of cases. I certainly haven’t got the patience to write personalised replies to posters knowing that that same question or comment will almost certainly come up again….and again….and again….

Then I thought, am I being unfair?

When I started retyping this there were more than 330 pages here containing over 6600 posts – that’s a hell of a lot of reading! The F95 search engine is very good….especially if you already know what you’re looking for and any technical terms that might apply. Similarly the various notes and links on page one are a great resource but are not always totally up to date or totally complete. Add in ‘Patreongate’ and v1.99995 and I can understand how life in Teacherspetland can suddenly become very confusing – especially to newbies and even more so if your first language isn’t English.

So, what can be done to help everyone visiting this thread have the best possible experience?

I have a few ideas myself but as a relative newcomer too (joined October 2017) who hasn’t ventured often on to other threads, I do not feel qualified to suggest a definitive answer. Obviously keep page one as up to date and comprehensive as possible. Perhaps a text document there that briefly explains the essentials of the game and a short history of recent events and changes would help too? Maybe then ‘Read the Opening Page’ will genuinely be the only answer required?

Do other (maybe even larger) threads have a system that works well?

I’m not so naïve as to think we’ll ever get rid of the trolls but surely we can at least do something about the lazy, confused or foreign?

Any thoughts?

I've always wondered if it would help to include ghost-text that appears instead of a blank box whenever anyone replies or starts typing a new post. Just something simple like To prevent unnecessary posts, please read the OP on page 1 and look over the previous few pages of this thread before posting to see if your question has been answered.

An FAQ list under a spoiler tag on the OP would be handy for some games, but that would be a lot of work for mods.

This update is unique (alpha release of a completely reworked game, no patch to restore missing elements yet, etc) and this thread is more... aggravating... as a result, so it's not exactly the example to use for improving threads in general (as you seem very much aware).

If people knew how to use the search function every thread would be reduced. It would be wise for this site to have it in the OP of each game how to use it. Hopefully people learn, but there still would be those that dont

Very true! A search in this thread for "pills" or "blackmail" from posts newer than one week will answer most questions without even clicking on any posts from the results. Maybe instead of that adbox on the right-hand side they could just post a continuous never-ending loop of how to search for a term in recent posts of a thread.

As you noted, part of the problem is that when you try searching for "walkthrough" an overwhelming majority of posts in most threads come up with "Walkthrough?" "Is there a walkthrough?" "NEED WALKTHROUGH" and so on.

I think, or maybe naively hope, most folks are at least trying to use the search function but it turns into this vicious, endless cycle of people trying the search function, giving up, and feeding into the problem with the function.

Or maybe people are just lazy. Or maybe that isn't fair to say since many folks here aren't native English speakers and asking is easier than scanning through pages of requests. I could see a lot of ways that contribute to the problem but few that solve it. @fauxplayer may be on to something with the alternative queries idea.

The less dickish response:

Pills are out. Old saves don't work and as far as i know no guarantee saves from this version will work since its an alpha so will have to wait for 2.0 probably. Since its an alpha and some more stuff will be added no walkthrough yet. No official release date yet, Deem posted on patreon that since he was persuaded/forced to release the alpha he felt justified in taking a bit more time to add stuff n polish 2.0. Incest is officially out, unofficially there's a mod being worked on to put it back in. The only stuff currently missing from the "official" version is the Kaitlyn blowjob. Since in 1.6 that was done by blackmail and in 2.0 will be consensual, Deem's adjusting the animation so she no longer looks so pissed off. Alongside the incest restoration patch, there is also an unofficial patch being worked on which will restore the pills/mind control for those who want it.
