Most of the people I've supported on Patreon I have found them on this site. You can't make advertising on Patreon, so where do you think people hear about you? Many devs are actually on this site and share their content because they see the benefit of it. See for example how Philly_Games has shared his game; he makes $10K+ on Patreon and I still support him even though his game is shared in the hour after each release.

Dude, just look at this from other side. For example, you are making the content for 100 people and thats it. No one more will know about you, because none of this people will share and you either. But then you open some materials after some time, keeping some exclusive content for supporters, it will bring to you more people in are long run, becouse they will see what stuff you can create. Not many are can pay for things right away, especially if they not sure for that exacly. Yeah, at you place, it will pissing me off as well, but free samples are well known practice and it shows great results. And yelling at people, who might be want you supporters, after seeing some amazing stuff you create - not helping for sure.
