Pretty sure, we'll never get an update. Better hope for someone to remake this game rather than waiting for Meandraco. If you still cling to the hope of him updating this game after more than half a decade.... then i wish you the best in life.

You should be dreaming "Someone takes the inspiration, iterate a similar game".
An indie "Remake" of another indie game never worked.
Indie game that lacks Identity never goes far.
(Even when Meandraco shared the code, I highly doubt anything will come out of it from other people.)
To be clear, Teraurge's Art is uniquely good (while very niche),
But there are also quite a few other artists that do weirdly sexy Teratophilia arts.
So unless you only want the exact "Tereurge", it's not impossible.
I was reffering to the hope of him coming back to the game, not of someone else doing a remake. I wouldn't be against it though, but yes, it would probably be better if someone made a similar game instead of a remake. Depends on how inspired the person is by Teraurge. I personally don't know many good games similar to this, only some much worse ones.

In order to provide an authentic xeno interaction experience, Meandraco sent an email to the people of Alpha Centauri, asking for an exhaustive write-up as to how life is on their world. Doing the math in my head, they should just now be receiving it, and it'll be another four and a half years before their reply will reach us.
