We had a convo on the SS (Subscribestar for short). The convo was regarding several subjects.

Those included more sizes and proportion of the bigger variant. I'll ask later at some point if those changes may be permanent, this also may mean longer developement time. Not that i mind, if the project is going to be a Continous Project.

Other convos was regarding content such as NTR. It is possible. Due to the nature of what this game is. You can easily avoid it by increasing their Fidelity which would lock them out of any NTR events, should you be uninterested in it. Though the Fidelity system is yet to be properly implemented. It's just bare bones as a concept now.

As for Terminal Desire:

There has been Updates. Though those are more like plans, rather than genuine updates to the Game Project itself. There's a LOT of Plans, whether they'll be implemented in the next update, i am not sure, as he DID delayed some content, including the Sheriff/Cowboy girl ones. The previous update was more of mechanics affecting the Characters, especially the FMC.

So you all are right in the sense that the Updates are ULTRA slow. Not gonna lie. That is exactly why JimJimXD dropped Releaste Dates completely, to avoid disappointment and hypocrisy (Saying one thing and doing the opposite). I understand you are impatient. And he does other stuff than just developing TD.

There hasn't been any details of it's limitations nor specifics. Only that the Fidelity System, if high enough, completely blocks/locks you out of any of such content. Ah, and that would affect Per-Character, not to forget. Each Character that Lothgar can interact with, if they are major enough, is subject to the Fidelity System. If i am wrong, ScrewTheName will elaborate.

Everything is still in planning stage that i have talked about. All of it is subject to possibility, the likely chance they will happen is nigh guarantee. But first, the developement has to get far enough for any of this to see any light at all. Let ScrewTheName cook the game. It's not as old as TD is. Fairly new. But with lots of promise. He also does a lot of side-content for support, inspiration and means to avoid burn out, i am assuming. Maybe other reasons too that he has yet to declare.

While RenPy is a lot nicer than RPGM in lots of ways, it's not really suited to a game with such detailed geography as this one has. And implementing the combat could also be tricky.

I mean mostly because while story and images are fun, the gameplay is a too complex for my taste and kinda gets in the way since there is no skipping it . I get it's the point of this project, it's just my taste so I don't expect the main dev to waste their time on it

The game stops after the big radio scene, it told me that I reached the end of the prologue and act 1 starts, then the game returns to the title screen, I believe it's normal, but is there a way to get access to the rest of the map before going to the roof ?

It's not abandonned. Jim is still working on it, sharing news on patreon and Discord. Yes, it's been a while since we didn't had an update, and yes, we're waiting for it. But it's being developped still, and won't be abandonned soon.

I have seen plenty of Devs who does Updates, but barely anything of note (NPRI, example) just to keep the paypigs paying and coming.

Yes. It's taking LONG ass time. I don't like it myself. But i occupy myself with something else rather than bitching here. Especially for a Solo-Dev, poor fucking sod. JimJimXD has paused the Subs so he doesn't take their money and feels like he's just taking their money without results, which is nice, but that also hurts him.

Free advice: If a game hasnt been updated in over 11 months verging on a year whilst the developer is constantly making excuses and pushing back deadlines then it is pretty safe to say either 1 of 2 things has happened. Either that developer has come to the conclusion that they cant or wont continue the project so they go into auto-pilot mode making false promises to keep support up AKA "Milk Mode" or 2 the developer has just abandoned the game entirely.

In this case its pretty obvious the developer can chime in when he feels anxiety from the consumer base piling up which is why at first he would always push the release dates back but its reached the point now where he doesnt even bother with updates.

"Ignorant doomsayers"....sorry buddy but if you are clinging to a phantom update you are a gullible sheep and why developers like this will always be able to make a bag because they count on blind obedience like yours to keep racking in dough.
