maybe it just wasn't the direction Rogueone wanted to go. Often times when there are "loli" characters in games, I just imagine in my head that they are actually just petite adults. Maybe its possible the other way around? I dont know
The first version which had the younger characters also had absolutely no crowdfunding. Dev changed it when they opened up a Patreon to the models we have now but left the ages as a variable. Then later I believe they changed the school to a college and hard coded the ages.

So honestly I don't really blame them for self censoring here. This game's too ambitious to do for free and even subscribestar is cracking down on the content this game used to have.

is there an archive of the first version somewhere? I am curious to see the changed models.

So a model rework because of self censorship? Man what a day and age to live in where fictional characters get remade on sites like this, meanwhile the characters still exist in Manga, Anime, Light Novels, Movies, and more. On top of the fact that fiction isn't allowed but just ask the Gov about Boys Town or Epstein or McMartin it's totally okay for it to be real just not imaginary. Seriously a fucking crazy world where nothing makes sense if you really think about it. It's just a bunch of ego driven douche bags spreading censorship and tyranny as far as the eye can see. I'm not supporting the original models, I just think the censorship especially self censorship is just, well it was beyond ridiculous back between 2016 and 2020 when the Dead Internet Theory became a thing and it's only gotten exponentially worse since then, so now it's indescribable.

The game used to have loli's but the dev caved to pressure and censored the game, remaking some models and aging them all up.
Maybe yes, maybe no. Personally I just do think he wanted to please everyone, but at the same time he didn't have goals to be seen as a "loli dev", which your comment seems to imply it.

Basicly games based on schools will always have that issue, even if that isn't the dev's goal. And yes I do agree the "pressure" is bullshit, even if that content isn't my cup of tea, but it's the way it is.

Personally I love the game the way it is. The only thing I might feel a bit "meh" about it is the amount of characters along with the theme. You're supposed to be a teacher and punish all classes, but in the end the game feels as if only 1 class is around. It sucks though, at some point having more girls around would give a sense of realism (simply in that presentation hall), but at the same time, adding more and more characters not only increases the workload of the dev by quite a lot, but also makes it hard to make the girls more unique. Let's be honest, the more characters are added, the harder it is to properly write, design and use them without feeling "equal" to another character in the cast.

So yeah, I think the situation sucks, but I feel the dev is doing the best he can in that situation. Maybe using "guest" characters as background in school or other classes would help to increase realism further? Or the plot changing to only experimenting with only 1-2 classes? I have no idea.

Anyway, I'm looking forward for the next update, and as I said, I already like the game the way it is. Was just giving my "2 cents".
