it's called character development, also you think arcsys would write, produce, voice act, model and animate a whole story mode just because some people on twitter were posting shit? get real, you're the one creating a false narrative where the devs were harrased, like back when GGxx came out? back when twitter didn't exist?, bridget hasn't been in a game since then so when did the twitter backlash happen? on the other hand, this game seems set between XX and Strive so before she transitions so it's fine, this is a femboy game you can have your fun but don't be making shit up
in fact it would be character regression

God dammit I hate japan... uncensor this peak!
Download the one from fanbox for lesser censorship then move the img file from the www to this translated version. You can find it easily in kemono, the author's name is nepinepi.
Look at these differences:
before.jpg after.jpg
You can see how his cock is more visible? Nepi was forced to blur it more for dlsite release.
Also, this was the fanbox's game cover

The devs literally put out a statement calling Bridget female. In Japanese. Bridget literally says 'I'm a girl,' in Japanese, in strive. There really shouldn't be any more discussion about this.

Moving on, I'm fine with the giant ass, but I don't like howthe muscles are drawn.

Bridget wasn't groomed. Bridget's always had 'their parents' as something they love in their bio. If their parents were trying to force them to be a girl when they were going around saying 'I'm a guy,' they probably wouldn't love them. The lore is pretty clearly just that they dressed and presented as a girl in the village, not that they were literally raised to think they were one. In their GGXX endings, they prove the curse wrong, so they're then free to live however they want without any pressure, which takes place like 7 years before Strive.

' Bridget loved her parents, and so did her utmost to keep them from worrying for her, but she could see that the charade—necessary as it was—filled them with guilt, for they felt they were forcing her to live a certain way. '

In a public context Bridget was presented as a girl, but in her private life their parents made it clear that she was a guy and that it was an act they were putting on due to the superstition. Bridget wasn't raised to think of herself as a girl. So that's not grooming.

Also we should really drop the argument here because 20 guys on a forum for jacking off to RPG maker games are not going to get to the bottom of this.

bridget loves his parents because he doesn't realize the extend of what they did. and fun fact, at a young age, children will look up to their parents, and they will look for their approval. they will always look to their parents for advice, and they will always follow what they say. and they will never, ever know what kind of person their parents were until their brains become fully developed. and with his parents dead, he'll always and will only have the "good" memories of them with him.
now, let me ask you question.
who do you think had him dressed as a girl? who do you think had him present himself as a girl?

ahhh to see why a lot of people steer clear of a fandom because just saying one thing, makes seeing a shit show in the wild always fascinating to see its like a african safari.

For those lucky enough not to be aware of one of the stupidest controversies in internet history, either the creator of this game is trolling, or the translator is (edit: to clarify, the synopsis originally read " A simple erotic RPG about a big-assed male bounty hunter!! "). It's a parody game based on the Arc System Works fighting game franchise Guilty Gear. Bridget, the featured character, is canonically trans, not a femboy. A whole bunch of internet weirdos who think being attracted to a trans girl would make them gay but being attracted to a femboy somehow wouldn't (and also that being gay would be bad), desperately want this not to be true and have gone so far as to get into arguments with the character's creator over it.
It's just very funny to me that you'd believe this dev is trolling when they're Japanese and in Japan Bridget is a completely unchanged femboy. The dev here just made a lovely erotic parody game of a beloved otokonoko and you're seemingly upset they did that? Why? lol
